Guys I think should be in:
Ken Anderson - A stud in that era.
Roger Craig - should've been in years ago.

Guy who shouldn't have made it on first ballot:
Troy Aikman - Top 5 playoff QB, not enough longevity to justify a first ballot selection
Warren Moon - Put him in the hall of numbers

Guy who should've rode the Earl Campbell, Gale Sayers, great but short run of dominance to first ballot status:
Michael Irvin - People don't realize how great he was.

Short list. Doesn't take in to account all the thousands of players who came before them. Guess you could put it all on a historical marker on some backwoods rode. Maybe a short walk path, or a fishing pier.

Don't forget the other 300 in the Hall. Give us you thoughts on those guys and please, please, please......

Unfortunately he won't be a definite no. We've gotten soft. But it'll be like a condemned person on death row... it'll be at least 10 years before his candidacy gains any serious traction.

His playoff run in 2011 is as good as it gets, Combine that with overall good numbers and the fact he's a Manning, it will be hard to keep him out.
His QB rating over the years sucks, It's been awhile but I would be surprised if he ever beat out Romo in QB rating. Yes he has those two SB's, but much of that was due to his defense and a lot of fairy dust luck. Manning name will definitely help, but he was never the QB that Romo was.

Unfortunately I don’t see Romo getting in the HOF, not enough post season success to get in. He has nice stats, but most HOF QB at least reach a Championship game or Super Bowl.

Patrick Crayton owes everything to Tony Romo. He doesn't get that big contract in San Diego if Romo didn't make him look like something he never was.

Besides giving up on that route PC was the only solid WR we had.

2 blings and superior totals will trump a guy who never played on the second to last Sunday of a NFL season
In your opinion, which of these two quarterbacks should be enshrined in the Hall first? Eli Manning? Or Jim Plunkett?

Plunkett was before my time.

I've looked into Ken Anderson a lot, that's the reason I have a strong opinion on him.

Plunkett's numbers are pretty pedestrian for any era. And I do know Plunkett won 2 SB.

Eli > Plunkett

So player #1 should get in because you looked in to him, but player #2 is out because he.....

Player Games/Strt W - L Comp Att % Yrds TDS TD% Int Int% Y/A Y/G QBR
Ken Anderson 192 172 91-81-0 2654 4475 59.3 32838 197 4.4 160 3.6 7.3 171.0 81.9
Tony Romo 156 127 78-49-0 2829 4335 65.3 34183 248 5.7 117 2.7 7.9 219.1 97.1

....played fewer gamed,
....completed more passes in less attempts
.....for more yards
....more TDs with a better TD %
....threw fewer interceptions with a lower interception percentage
....had a better yard per attempt
....had more yards per game
....and a better QB rating.

But player #1 is a Hall of Famer while player #2 is just another former NFL player?

Anderson was more dominant in his era than Romo was in his. I would put in Anderson over Aikman and Irvin.
