Kevinicus -- I looked it up and the Niners are indeed going to franchise Garoppolo. Thanks for the heads up. I had read several articles about Garoppolo becoming a free agent but none mentioned him being franchised. So, for a 2nd round pick, the niners get to try out their franchise QB for a year or two before making any long-term commitment. Wish Jerry would have made that deal. As long as we slog along in the .500 range we're never going to have a shot at drafting a top-notch QB.

Make a list of players who need to be replaced and if replaced would eventually make us better

Who I'd want gone and replaced.....

Dak- Risen was right, his limitations are all out there for display. I was one of the guys who rolled with him heavy, but I can't be a Homer if it means hurting this team, he needs to go.

Dez- I think he would need another team or different QB to become elite again. Aka Tom Brady type. He would also need a team that would scheme to his skill set. We have been complaining about this staff for years, they will never make the offense WR friendly, we ruin WR's with our outdated style of play. We can't scheme to get our guys open to save our lives. Therefore Dez will never work on this team, unless we resurrect Romo

Williams- I've always said he had to go, very limited WR, who brings nothing but body catches(that result in pocks most times due to the fact he can't extend) and averages under 50 yards no matter how many passes go his way. Most teams would have him as their 4th WR. For depth. But we continue to line him up outside and refuse to draft a guy because we think he's scaring somebody.
&

Brown- He's just horrible, brings back memories of Derek Ross

Jeff Heath- idk what we were thinking here

We did it with Defense and have gotten light years better
I'm not going to preach about Dak's sophomore year
Brown is a good back up and made some slash plays
Heath are you kidding me release the GOAT please

You lose all credibility when you let your agenda get into a legitimate conversation. If you believe Jeff Heath was even the 20th problem on this team this year the entire CZ should block you.

Dak will be better. Those listing him are nuts

The answer is easy. Jason Garrett and all the major coordinators. We go into every game with a disadvantage in that part of the game, and it’s impossible to win a championship that way

Oops. I forgot about David Irving. Yes, add him in there. Not Maliek Collins. He has to prove it yet. He and Anthony Brown need to rebound before I consider them part of a core for the future. But Irving was an oversight.
I disagree Maliek is probably the best DL on the team and my favorite of all the DL, he disrupts the interior of the line commands double teams and pretty good vs the run, its not always about Sacks.

David Irving is solid

Just needs to smarten up. But as troy said, the story with the cowboys is always the non football stuff

You’d think the coach would strike fear in these guys or something

Here are the bums that need to go ( in no particular order ):

1. Jerry Jones
2. Jason Garrett

We get rid of those two clowns and we will jump up in the odds to win a Super Bowl.

For starters, we need to look at the core of the problem before tossing players under the bus. My first pick isn't a player. It's our offensive coordinator, Scott Lineman. Against Seattle, Linehan tried to get too cute and actually went away from using Elliott near the goal line. Instead, he turned to a passing game that had struggled all night. The Boys play calling the entire season was just plain bad.

Dak has really regressed this year. Especially in the second half of the season where he’s thrown nine picks in his last six games, but that doesn't mean there's a need to toss him. Consider how poorly the 'Boys wide receiver corps has played all season, and there is a case to be made that not only should Linehan be fired, but wide receivers coach Derek Dooley and QB coach Wade Wilson as well.

Before tossing Dak and some other player's under the bus, keep in mind that Dallas needs an initiative offensive coordinator that can turn this talented squad of under performing individuals into an exciting offense again. We have the talent, not the coaches.

So I guess you guys don’t remember all the QBs after aikman? I get that you said replaced but that is soo hard to do, ask the Browns.

I question the zeal to discharge a QB in his second year who has shown such potential. Especially when his #1 WR drops passes so often.
