At some point in any decades long arch of FAIL things get so bad that you really can't do anything about it. The FAIL is so undeniably baked into the bread of this franchise now; so overwhelmingly saturated with it; that there is very little that CAN be done. Making a tweek here or a tweek there in personnel or coaches simply will not do.

Someone out here said a few week ago that Cubs fans waited over 100 years for success. My response was not many of them made it that long to see it. So what was the point? Well. We are 1/5th of the way to 100. Only 4/5th left to go.

The entire culture of this franchise needs to be torn down to its foundation and re-built from scratch. That is the only way to purge the FAIL. Otherwise it will be doomed to Failure or mediocrity forever. Or for 100 years. Whichever comes first.

And that re-birth absolutely cannot happen as long as Jerry Jones and his family are the owners. But they are not going anywhere. Maybe not going anywhere ever.

So I leave it to you. You do the math.

Merry Christmas.

Go Cowboys!!!

Good luck getting Garoppolo. No way 49ers let him sniff fa
His contract will be up after the game next week since the Niners won't be going to the playoffs. They traded a 2nd for him but he's going to be a free agent and his agent would be foolish not to let him test the market, IMO.

Dez - He needs to go. We force too many balls his way. We would be a better team w/o him.
Witten - He needs to either become a backup or retire. He's holding that TE position back. We need young legs, someone that runs faster than Rich Eisen's 40 yard time.
Williams - He sucks as a 2nd WR and can't catch worse than Dez.

JG and all his coaches - They all suck, the play calling, the coaching, it's embarrassing.

Dak (not yet) - I'd give him 1 more year with a complete makeover of this offense. He needs better play calling, receivers, and consistent blockers.

or sign or draft a top QB and let Dak compete for the job. He played much better when we had Romo as a 2nd string QB.

I think the defense will play better next season. The offense is what needs to be addressed this off-season.

Hahaha wow man. Let go of the best left tackle in football on a team friendly deal? Haha wow

Tyron is a huge question mark with his injury problems right now. You have to admit that. At the very least, we need to get another tackle in here who can play for when Tyron cant go or your looking at more years like this one.

First off, Dez Bryant is not a bum; he’s just old for this game. His wheels have a lot of miles on them - surgery in 2015 and 2016.

He needs to go. For perspective, look at Miles Austin’s career. His 4th, 5th and 6th years with Dallas was his career peak for TD’s. Then he got injured and started a downhill slide. He played 8 years with the cowboys.

Dez has now played 8 years with the cowboys. His peak production for TD’s were 2012, 2013, and 2014 - years 3 - 5. Pretty impressive. But then the injuries started, and now there are times where he looks like he’s not trying or like his feet are in cement.

This game chews people up. Nobody plays forever, and Dez is done.

This team is ready to win now.

Our defense disagrees with you. We need another starting LB and Safety, and a couple solid supplementary Defensive lineman to really be a contendor in my opinion. But to your point, I do think our window is open, we just need to solidify the defense to truly be in the hunt.

Coaching staff- all of them and Dez, bring Jimmy Johnson back and give him the reins- only way this team becomes relevant again.

To all you people wanting to get rid of Dak, you know very little about football. When your offensive coordinator runs the same unimaginative passing scheme and then cannot run the ball to zeke once inside the 3, this is the root of the problem. And when your supposed #1 and #2 WRs, and #1 TE, can get absolutely NO separation from DBs, it is a recipe to make any QB look bad. He is forced to throw into tiny windows. And when the offensive line is missing it's best piece and overall not playing up to par, he is not throwing from a clean pocket. I'm not trying to make excuses for Dak for the last game. He was awful. But he is not the problem.

Garopollo , Smith , cousins are free agents. Sign one of them to a 2/3 year deal draft a QB let rush and rookie groom. Get a 2nd for Dak while you can.

Smith is not.

You could replace his name with Romo...if he'd be willing.

His contract will be up in the Spring when the league year begins. The 9ers will do sign or Franchise him before that.

Is should start with Jerry the GM but that's not going to happen until Jerry the owner is no longer the owner.
