Exactomundo. That's why FA is a useful tool to help accelerate the processBy the time our defense is great our offense will need to be rebuilt.

We're allowed to say the "P" word here?Exactomundo. That's why FA is a useful tool to help accelerate the process
But then again, the steelers have a top 5 defense as well. So it's not like they are chopped liver on defenseIt's NOT defense. The biggest indicator of winning is the QB/Coach combo.
The Jags defense has been fantastic this year. Do we really think Bortles is about to roll in and beat the Steelers? I mean, defense wins championship, after all.
I mean, I would LOVE to see that. But I don't have my hopes up.
Welcome to the zoneWe're allowed to say the "P" word here?
Thank you sir.Welcome to the zone
Just like a cowboy fan. You missed the obvious, they lost.

The Cowboys had the 5th ranked defense in the NFC in 2017, and the 9th overall ranked defense in the NFL. They ranked 7th in rushing defense, and 11th in overall pass defense. Don't look now, the but Cowboys defense is getting much better. Also, the Cowboys ranked 2nd in rushing offense.
The issue was the passing offense ranked 26th in the NFL. Do you blame the QB, or the receivers, or the coaches? Perhaps all 3 deserve blame.
Did a bird troll send out the bat signal for more bird trolls? You would think they have better things to do then hangout here.
one would think, huh?Yet the fervent obsession inherently pertaining to this certain unsplitting gene pool of Fan subspecies is following it's predictably buffoonish course in primitive tribal display,,, ( I should've NEVER left that 30 pack of skunky Milwaukee's best ice beer & those 3 cans of cheese whiz I'd found at the land fill on my last dump run& brought back with me,obviously intending them for use as reactionary targets the next time I went pistol shooting,, AT THE DRAWBRIDGE of the ZONE,,,I just knew Your hindsight truly is 20/20 and laughable. How you can explain away after the fact why Dak failed his sophomore season is not impressive at all. Where was that diagnosis in the preseason? And now you are kissing Wentz's Eagle *** as if you know all along he would be a superstar. Hillarious how you expect credit for that diagnosis too. Where was that in the preseason? Shut up and stop pretending you know a damn thing about football. Maybe you fool some folks with that act but not me.Just looking at what each of them were tasked with in their respective offenses should have told you who would be the better player. Dak was shielded his entire rookie season. He wasn't asked to do much more than manage the game. He was given easy reads in the passing game. What that does is limit the offense because you can't trust him with more complex things.
The plan was to give him more of the offense this season. And he was horrible. He has no idea of what defenses are trying to do because he can't read them. Most times he threw into the teeth of the defense because that's where his primary receiver was. Outside of an occasional run, that's where his adaptation ends. He needs things to be perfect for him to succeed.
Contrast that with what Wentz does. Not only does he does an amazing job pre-snap seeing what he should expect he sets the line protections as well. He has complete control of his offense. He has zero restrictions in the passing game. He has the backing of his entire coaching staff to change calls based on what he sees. He has a photographic memory so it is basically impossible to fool him twice with the same look.
His teammates will run through walls for him. And he is a gym rat. First in the building last one to leave. And at 6' 5" and 245 lbs. he can make every throw. I personally don't believe we've seen what this guy has as of yet. His ceiling is unbelievable. The next thing for him is to start getting calls that the Brady's and the Rogers of the league get. What that defense they may go on a 7-8 year run.
Oh, Man! How true,V-Man and that's something I'd failed to take into consideration as to the breaks& bounces they got,
In a statistical paper review they should've been blown completely out of the water based on turnovers in the post season level of play
( to be completely honest, the only impactful turnover I recall seeing was the one that ended the game,,,,,,wait a minute! ,,,Atlanta downed out when there #11 fell down in the end zone on 4th down,,, but even on that play Ryan only had two targets to wing it to when he rolled out to the right( I was heavily engaged in my drinking hobby during that game, I don't even recall how many turnovers there were)
But, anyway, with Philly sporting an attacking style of pressure defense ,the effects are envious,,,on the other hand MATT RYAN seriously exploited their defensive backfield in blitzkrieging down the field to set them up for the win,,,AND THE SILENCE IN THAT STADIUM WAS PRICELESS![]()
Saids the guy who brings up the pre season, lol. I glad I can't fool you!Your hindsight truly is 20/20 and laughable. Wentz is a superstar... in your own mind. Everywhere else he is thought of as no better than Dak Prescott at the end of last season. Wentz had a good season, I would never attempt to take that away from him. But one season does not make him a superstar. He has to do it again, and again and again... so we'll see. By the way... Foles is not the reason the Vikings will kick the Eagles butts next week. The Vikings are also being led by a backup QB in Case Keenum. So Foles being a backup QB is no excuse. The Vikings superior defense, however, will spell the Eagles doom. Check out what they do to Saints.
You are unworthy of my time,in a pissing contest,I've allotted this generous amount of it to inform you to stop LYING!1. Your last sentence couldnt be more wrong. That stadium was deafening. The announcers spoke to it several times and it was ROCKING on that last drive. ROCKING!
2. So Ryan drives the team down in the 4th and that means he exploited their defensive backfield in a blitzkreig? Atlanta scored ZERO points yesterday on non turnover drives. Zero. The Eagles CB's are mediocre overall but they played really well yesterday.
3. Im really not getting your post. Matt Ryan seriously exploited the Eagles D backfield. Huhhh?
