Philly game should show us again that D wins championships

But then again, the steelers have a top 5 defense as well. So it's not like they are chopped liver on defense

The Cowboys had the 5th ranked defense in the NFC in 2017, and the 9th overall ranked defense in the NFL. They ranked 7th in rushing defense, and 11th in overall pass defense. Don't look now, the but Cowboys defense is getting much better. Also, the Cowboys ranked 2nd in rushing offense.

The issue was the passing offense ranked 26th in the NFL. Do you blame the QB, or the receivers, or the coaches? Perhaps all 3 deserve blame.

The plan was to give him more of the offense this season. And he was horrible. He has no idea of what defenses are trying to do because he can't read them. Most times he threw into the teeth of the defense because that's where his primary receiver was. Outside of an occasional run, that's where his adaptation ends. Contrast that with what Wentz does. Not only does he does an amazing job pre-snap seeing what he should expect he sets the line protections as well. He has complete control of his offense. He has zero restrictions in the passing game. He has the backing of his entire coaching staff to change calls based on what he sees. He has a photographic memory so it is basically impossible to fool him twice with the same look.
His teammates will run through walls for him. And he is a gym rat. First in the building last one to leave. And at 6' 5" and 245 lbs. he can make every throw. I personally don't believe we've seen what this guy has as of yet. His ceiling is unbelievable. The next thing for him is to start getting calls that the Brady's and the Rogers of the league get. What that defense they may go on a 7-8 year run.

Your hindsight truly is 20/20 and laughable. How you can explain away after the fact why Dak failed his sophomore season is not impressive at all. Where was that diagnosis in the preseason? And now you are kissing Wentz's Eagle *** as if you know all along he would be a superstar. Hillarious how you expect credit for that diagnosis too. Where was that in the preseason? Shut up and stop pretending you know a damn thing about football. Maybe you fool some folks with that act but not me.

1. Your last sentence couldnt be more wrong. That stadium was deafening. The announcers spoke to it several times and it was ROCKING on that last drive. ROCKING!
2. So Ryan drives the team down in the 4th and that means he exploited their defensive backfield in a blitzkreig? Atlanta scored ZERO points yesterday on non turnover drives. Zero. The Eagles CB's are mediocre overall but they played really well yesterday.
3. Im really not getting your post. Matt Ryan seriously exploited the Eagles D backfield. Huhhh?

I agree that one season doesnt make you a superstar but we could see it last year even though he struggled at times. I also agree that it is very unlikely the Eagles can beat the Saints or the Vikings. But Wentz is going to be a superstar in this league for a loooooong time. Last year when Wentz was up and down the O line lost multiple players from injury and suspension and Wentz probably had the worst set of receivers I've seen in decades. They got him one go to WR and the OLine help up and he absolutely dominated. He was going to win the MVP if he didnt get injured. Dak wasnt in contention for MVP last year. He played really well but nothing close to what Wentz did this year.

I watched the game,while Atlanta was marching down the field with EASE within the last 4 minutes of play you could've heard a pin drop in that stadium, now,if that simple auditory fact Fuzz's you up pound sand & go piss up a rope north of the arctic,,, pal,,,& yer on ignore, Too,,,:rolleyes:
