A couple of days before they shut down, one of the mods started a thread to tell us it would be shutting down, but he didn't know when.
Apparently, it has something to do with a lack of traffic, and the NFL wants to use social media instead.....or something like that, I wasn't paying attention.

Thanks for responding. I looked at both forums but had decided i like this one better, the Cowboys Zone. But once in awhile would go back and check the other forum. Funny to go back and they're no longer is a link to it. I guess it's been awhile since I checked it.

You have to make a new account, the screen names cannot be changed I guess.

Not every fan on the old forum will turn around and jump on twitter to talk to those who write for Dallascowboys.com. That's the mistake the NFL made. They actually lost a ton of attention.
