Media will probably dismiss this as "TO being TO", but there is such a growing number of current and former NFL figures saying the same thing that eventually, Jerry is going to be forced to act. Garrett can't continue to be the head coach if he isn't willing to adapt and actually help his team. Purely out-executing your opponent doesn't work in 2018.
Is it Garrett or Linehan?

Linehan draws up the game plan and calls the plays now.

Garrett before was OC under TO.

And like DEZ is doing now..

he horraraged dropped passes, too.

We were busy forcing passes to TO and a faster Witten.

The offense cratered then too.

Nothing got better until TO was released.

Remember?

When I ask who is to blame for blunders I ask who was responsible for the following:

Icing their own kicker.
Allowing KC to walk the ball into the end zone from their own side of the field.
Allow GB time to complete a final score and win.
Passing on 1st and 3 from the goal line with Zeke on board.
Not putting the game away and forcing an overworked defense to come back on injuring Sean Lee.

There are a few more but these IMO are bad coaching decisions that should not have happened.

They tried to replace TO with ole alligator arms Roy Williams. TO was never not a stud in Dallas.

TO is the typical diva WR but is mentally unstable at best. Who cares what he is STILL whining about? We have our own current diva whiner WR to entertain us.

I still shudder in shame that this imbecile ever wore the vaunted star.

Thanks for that, too, Jerry.

We care because despite cutting all of the 'problem players' and having 8 years to get his RKGs, we are STILL in the same cycle of mediocrity. When several of our players are hinting at the same thing, including Romo, who said Garrett isn't an X and Os kind of guy, it pretty much confirms everything TO has been saying.

I understand those of you who question TO , based upon his off-the-field (bizarre) behavior ; but accept the fact the man will be a Hall-of-Famer one day very soon................It's difficult to justify completely disregarding his opinion , considering many other former and current NFL players have the same viewpoint......................

I also think it’s hilarious that people think TO was “divisive in every locker room he’s been in” which is completely untrue.

Also think it’s hilarious how Rice got such a pass for being a ****. If Rice doesn’t win those championships, he’s TO part deaux.

Never forget him blowing up at the OC AFTER the 49ers scored on a running play because the play before he dropped a would-be TD from Garcia saying “Tell him to throw a (expletive) spiral: A (expletive) spiral!”

I see a lot of misinformation about TO's production with the Dallas Cowboys. Let he remind you TO was around 32-33 when he signed with the cowboys and he last played at age 36

sbdnUSz.jpg

Every season with the cowboys, TO put up 1000 yds + and 10-15TDs

At age 36, he had 983 yds and 9 TDs with the Bengals and he missed two games.

TO played with different qbs but always put up big numbers

Interesting Romo quote in that article that the "TO is a cancer"crowd like to ignore.

Are you really naive enough to think that while TO was still on the team, Romo was going to say that he is divisive?

Since it's T.O. saying this, many people will just brush it off as T.O. being T.O. And maybe that is fair for his actions over his career but he is speaking 100% truth here. No one respects Garrett. I guarantee many players right now on this team think the same but won't come out and say it for obvious reasons. This staff has no clue about adjustments. We saw that the entire year of 2015. We saw it big time in the Falcons game this year. The first game Zeke missed. The went on to lose 3 games in a row.

I applaud T.O. for calling out this ginger clown. He absolutely sabotaged this offense when Wade was here at the end of his tenure to get him ran out of town. Because he knew he was Jerry's pet and was next in line to take over. He's scum

So, only quotes that are critical should be considered?

That's not biased at all and totally rational.

Are you calling Tony a liar?

I haven’t seen anybody ignore that obvious observation. TO definitely wanted to win. He was an animal. He played hurt. He came up big in big games. He was one of the biggest impact players of his generation. He’s not the one who threw up losing a Superbowl.

TO’s problems were narcissism and crippling insecurity. But they did him in on every NFL team he played for, nonetheless. And they’re hurting him again now, in the PR battle for his HoF bid.

This isn’t any different from the stuff TO said about Garrett when he was let go. He’s saying it again because he’s got a mic in front of him again for a short bit of time.

And it’s very much different from what other players repeatedly say about Jason Garrett, so you can’t guarantee otherwise. TO, Crayton, Holley. It’s a short list of players Garrett dropped from the roster who say negative things about him. The overwhelming majority of player quotes over the years have been very supportive of the coach.

Anybody who agrees with a player who danced on the Star then feigned suicide to grab attention is as narcissistic as "I love me some me" TO!!!
