The Jaylon Smith that just had a pretty good year after red shirting his rookie season and is only going to get better? That Jaylon Smith?
That's to be determined. Nobody knows if he'll be great. This defense has been so bad we can't afford to take chances on projects.

That pick was too good to use on him there.
Their two top targets in the second round just got selected before they got to pick again. If it wern't for that Jaylon wouldn't have been the pick.

He shouldn’t have even been a target. That was almost a first rounder.

I’m still not sure he’s ever going to be the player he was and who knows when he would’ve actually got selected but it wouldn’t have been in the 2nd round.

Dak would be smart to go to the competent version of the cowboys in jacksonville when his contract is up. No need to be bashed by your own fans and let Garrett destroy your career

But hey, Garrett and team get a pass because they lost their starting RB for 6 games and their LT and ML for 4+.

I like Dak but I wouldn’t put him above Foles at this point. Foles has a nice resume and I just saw him complete a beautiful pass for a TD more than 20 yards downfield.

I would. For the regular season, I guess people forgot the guy who completed 56% of his passes and had a qb rating of 79.5.

Foles has played in over twice as many games as Dak, which I took into account, and has a career avg 60.1% completion rate and an 87.4 QBR. Guess people forgot about that guy.

Everyone must admit that he is AT LEAST as good as Keenum and Foles and better than Bortles. I would argue that his running ability alone makes him better than all three when he's playing well. Regardless, those who we can't win big with him are arguing in the face of current events.

It's why I maintain our draft/FA should be dedicated to defense.
He didn't play as well in 2017 as Foles played today.

Why shouldn’t he get a pass? Please compare rosters and back ups and get back to me. If you want to place the majority of blame on someone look no futher than the incompetent ego drunk maniac Jerry Jones.

Played 7 games. Almost half a season. Anyways, his career qb rating is 87.4, completion % 60.1%.
Again, I said at this point. If we can cherry pick seasons, take a look at his 2013 season with the Eagles. 13 games, 27 TD’s, 2 INT’s and a QBR of 119.

What? I posted his career stats too. They are just a little better than this season stats.

I understand that. I’m just saying Dak has 2 seasons under his belt, one is very good and one is quite questionable. Foles isn’t much different but has played a lot more games so at this point I would go with Foles because there’s less uncertainty.
