Wentz was having a legitimately great season. You can't take that away from him. Foles had a great year in Philly before Chip Kelly arrived and got rid of him. I hate philly, but i'm not surprised Foles is playing effective football.

And was his great season because of the team/system or because of the player? Foles is nothing more than a journeyman, yet slot him into the Eagles system and all of a sudden he becomes a world beater.

The Eagles are a brilliantly coached team with a great defense and a very underrated running game/receiving corp. The team makes Wentz look much better than he actually is.

I'm trying to discredit the Eagles?
I don't think you are either. I think you're just ignorant where football is concerned. There's an old saying you should take to heart, "Hate destroys the hater, not the hated." I slept like a baby last night, how about you?

I slept fine. I see you still have nothing to say though, but it's good to hear you had a peaceful rest

Eagles winning the SB is the natural fruition of Jerry-Garrett incompetence...

Their fans are the most classless out of any of our rivals and the last remaining NFC East team to not win a SB..

And the Patriots cheat like no other and Kraft is a douchebag and the backbone of Goodell, who made Jerry look like a fool in the Zeke scenario.

Did you see the penalty count in the Pats game? It was something like 95 yards to 10, utter joke

I cant say i hate a franchise or a player. I tend to get very angry when emotions are high but in the end this is a game between some players and i am not one of them. So what do i gain or lose when they win or lose ? Nothing. They do.

Regardless i dont value people who make their own rules and break rules and come away with success. These rules may be the rules of a game or moral rules.

Both of these franchises broke thoses rules. Phillie's fans a thousand times. But i cant forget when they applauded michael irvin when he was laying on the eagles turf and everybody thought abput if he ever could walk again. They even applauded when he was carried out of the statium on a strecher. I cant excuse this behavior because it was not on impulse. The time was there to get your mind back. And still they decided to applaude again. I dont hate the eagles fans for that. But i cant wish them anything good for being such humans. These are poor people.

The new england franchise to me is not legit. And so are their leading heads belichick their FO and brady. I cant give someone the benfit of the doubt after it had been proven that he lied again and again and again. It should be his to prove that he didnt do all those thing. NE couldnt and wouldnt. They washed their hands clean by buying the leading people of the league.

This franchise should have been denied of all of their titles and the fo, owner, belichik and brady should have been banned from playing in this league years ago. New England is the incarnation of corruption.

But life is not always a fair game. And corruption too often wins by breaking rules it demands from others to follow (can you say Godell, Mr. Mara ?). Cheaters win and even get to lay the prom queen. And there goes the legend of brady NE and belichick.

So in reality i am in peace with whomever wins the SB. In the end all i want is us to win not the others to lose.

It is my responsibility to get my own priorities right. Thats what is way enough to me to think about. Everything else should be fun.

And Brady couldn’t move the ball putside PI and the one time Jaguars conveniently went soft zone and gave all the underneath with plenty of RACs even with no deep field threat and one of the best secondaries in the NFL..

Patriots last 5 games, penalty yards:

98 yards to 10
62 yards to 37
84 yards to 49
83 yards to 10
63 yards to 4

All up 390 yards to 110. Almost 4 times the yards. Who the hell is Bill Belichick servicing to get that sort of treatment?

The Eagles are clearly the better team up and down the roster, and it’s not even close. If the Patriots beat them, it solidifies Belichick and Brady as football gods.

Unfortunately, the eagles are going to win the Superbowl this year.

Enough said other than I hate the Eagles

That’s why the win against the Steelers in regular season was huge. The Steelers got robbed on the clear TD and it gave the Pats their HF advantage in Gillette..

problem with this is, no matter who wins this superbowl , it messes with Dallas' Legacy.. either one of our biggest rivals wins or oh, well we aren't even the 2ND team to get to 6 superbowls. 20 some years after our 5th one. bleh .
We've screwed up our own legacy by being one of the worst teams in the league for the last 20 years. Nobody cares about what we did before some of the people on this board were alive.

I don’t think Wentz is overhyped. I think it shows that he has a great team around him with great coaches.

When Romo went down, we went 2-11 and couldn’t move the football. The eagles somehow run at peak efficiency
Yeah that team around Wentz is a lot better than most QBs have. They’ve proven they can win without him but they would have a better shot at beating the Pats with him IMO.

You aren't looking at the big picture of his career or any of the details. You just branded him. The fact is that Foles was a pro bowl QB before chip kelly arrived, got rid of his best wrs, and changed the offensive system. He then went to St louis which had no OL and no offensive weapons. He ended up back with his old coach in KC but Alex Smith was the entrenched starter. Go look at what he did in KC in the 2 starts he got. He won both games and played the kind of football that got him to the pro bowl. When Howie Roseman got the chance to bring Foles back to philly, he jumped. It just goes to show you how important an offensive system is in making a QB.
