Is anyone still pleased with the 6-0 win against the Iggles?

That's simply not accurate.

In some drafts, it doesn't matter. And in some(my guess would be most), it can matter a lot.

In the 16 draft, Ryan Kelly went at 18. And he turned out to be an absolute stud at C. So, which C's that went after him are even close?

You can't reason with people who won't listen. They have their fingers in their ears and their "we beat the Eagles 6-0" t shirt.

I don't think anybody was joyous over the win, as if it somehow made the frustration of a disappointing season all better, but I was still a lot happier watching a win than I would have been watching a loss.
By the time the Cowboy's scored I was wishing a flock of crows would come and peck out my eyes. That game was awful.

The Iggs were playing fry cooks and peeps who couldn't get a job stocking the shelves at Walmart.....

and held the Dallas offense to 6 points.

But hey, they beat the NFC Champs!!!!! Hell yes, baby. Pop open the champagne and give Garrett a 20 year extension.

You never know the cost of an outcome that didn't occur. It can be something as simple as the guy we would have picked 3-4 spots earlier being a complete bust, or something else. We pick 19th, it is, what it is.

Rooting for draft position over Wins over rivals is not a way to show the quan

You Mock Fans like the Draft more than the Season because you think you have all this inside info and you will be the next Mel Kiper

I just root for my team to win every game it plays

Football is a business. If you’re eliminated from the playoffs then making strides to not be eliminated next year becomes the goal.. at least it should. This team would be better and further along. But Garrett seems to be famous for those meaningless wins with absolutely nothing on the line.. no pressure!! Beating a team in week 17 that is headed to the Super Bowl? lol means even less 3 weeks later than it did then. They could’ve had a top 5 pick or even the #1 in 2011 but that Garrett magic in 2010 really paid dividends over the long haul. Everything about the nfl is a quick turnaround with short contracts, free agency, salary cap. Teams need to take full advantage of their opportunities. Too many holes to fill on a 53 man roster and a limited window to make it happen. I want important wins, wins when there’s something to play for. Those ‘preseason’ type wins mean absolutely nothing!

Philly didn’t lay down for our scrubs last year in the season finale. Folding tent doesn’t accomplish anything but a few spots higher in the draft. Philly played to win last year in the season finale and it appears it carried over to this season. We decided to look ahead to the playoffs in 2016 folding up with Sanchez at QB. It led to a one and done as the #1 seed and it appears our sour end to the 2016 season carried over to this season.

We ended up getting full of ourselves in 2016 and our year ended bad. It was very similar to what happened during the 2007 season. We followed that season up by missing the playoffs with a 9-7 record.

With this sort of logic we should just aske Goodell to move us down to the 32nd spot for no reason at all because "it doesn't matter".

I checked NFL stats, and will check again in few months, next year, and next decade (although I expect the same result)

All what I saw is a W .. There is no paragraph stating Philly played with their backups, and rested their starters, and Pat's better than Gino's yada yada yada .... I didn't see an asterisk as well .. so a W is W ..

The books will say we beat them in their house in 2017.

I, personally, didn't care about that game, but it was good to get out with a win

Do you beat your chest and talk about a win 10 years ago that meant nothing to the team. I hope not. If so maybe you should see a doctor and get rid of whatever is ailing you.

In all seriousness are you happy we beat the Eagles? Seriously? We can't even tank right.

Have you ever noticed when someone says "that's just the way the ball bounces" they are usually the person who dropped it?

Possibly, but I neither play or coach the Dallas Cowboys, so I'm missing how that's relevant.

Just more ways to fill their pockets...feeding us this BS propaganda and washing it down with kool aid.

Then on the other side the lower they pick the smaller the salary has to be for that first rounder. Win-Win for Skeletor.

There’s no point laying down in the final game of the season to pick three spots higher in the draft. It’s not like winning that game cost us a top 10 pick. Seems like some here only care about draft position. Many were calling for us to tank after the first five games of the season so we could get a top 10 pick. That’s how ridiculous some are here.

I have no idea what SSS means.

No answer?
small sample size

'statistically and historically' means more than one cherry picked year to try and bolster your losing argument....... it means over a long period of time the facts prove that the difference between 16 and 19 is negligible or near zero

Heck yes I'm glad we beat Philly. Can't understand why so called fans like to lose, especially a division rival.

Philly played hard to win that game. Sure they played more backups but they were sending blitzes and trying to score on offense.

Seems like the same ones were wanting to sit our starters last season against Philly so they can rest up with a but the following week cause it's ok just to be the 1 seed. Who cares if we lost that game. The way some of you guys talk about Wentz, the eagles organization and wanting to lose to them every time makes me think you guys are really eagles fans.

I'm happier then Rosie O'Donnell at an all you can eat buffet since we beat Philly.

Then the folks will tell me about draft position....3 spots... But then complain Jerry can't draft anyways.

You guys are actually counting that game as a "win"

We played starters and they played their practice squad.............we beat them 6-0.............its more of an embarrassment than a "win" actually.
