Anybody know if you draft a guy like John Toth OT Army...do you hold his draft rights until him commitment is over...ala Roger Staubach? He might be worth a late round flyer...stash.;)

An interview earlier this week said he still has a two year commitment I believe. Probably drops him from day two back to maybe a 7th.

That's my question...I know he has the 2 year commitment to the Army...but do you still hold his draft rights for a year after the commitment? Because I think you do.

DJ Chard making plays....I'm afraid that kid is going to blow away in the wind he's so skinny. But still...he's getting open. Terrence Williams should take note.

I wonder what Dallas thinks there. I am willing to bet they don't take a DE high. Especially not in the first.

They draft to roles, not to talent. So look for Mayowa's rotational end role replacement.

Gallup is pretty good off press. He just can't get a proper delivery.
Tre'quan Smith looks good too. Couldn't find much tape on him but he is performing when the ball is in his direction. Chark is a legitimate deep threat as his tape indicates. I wish James Washington would run another route. They give him a lot of cushion.

Don’t see us drafting DE with Tapper also coming back.

Gotta love the position flex - NM he can’t play either one well (meaning our hypothetical pick). Why would we want a guy who kicks azz in one role when he can be mediocre in two.

As much as people downplay the idea of a DT, the idea of a DE in the early rounds is pretty unlikely.

They are going to pay up for Lawrence. They already have a sunk cost in Charlton. I don't see a high round DE to take the Mayowa role.

That last QB scramble showed a bunch of linemen not playing to the whistle.
