Bust might be the wrong word here since Dez has produced in the NFL, the right word might be "Done"
And then add in the fact that he was a late 1st, and no, he wasn't a bust.

Did he underperform, career wise? That appears to be the case. But not woefully. His expectations were a bit too high. He's really about inline w/ what you'd expect from his draft status.

Ok maybe not done. But no longer elite. Which is fine. He can still be a 1000 yard guy.
If Dez has trouble getting open and drops passes when he does get open i don't see how that is turning into a 1000 yards. Now add in that it's claimed that Dak is not Dez's kind of QB. Things don't seem to be going in the right direction for Dez whether he is to blame or not.

ran into this earlier today....seemed like an interesting topic to discuss.
FYI- I don't think he's a bust, but needs a different system and qb to thrive. It's worthy of discussion. Go cowboys

Bust is usually defined as never being good.

And I’d agree. He needs a different QB to thrive like with Romo. I’m not sure any of our receivers will consistently thrive with Dak.

No way is he a bust. There for awhile he was a top 5 WR. I still think he could be a productive WR in the right offense and with the right QB.
