Get Cousins at all costs!

Jackson and Garcon were not there last year, Reed played in only six games and he still threw for 65%, 4093 yards,27/13 TD to INT.

To put it in perspective, those are numbers that Romo would post and people would complain that he was shafted for All Pro honors.
The reply was to someone talking about three years without players around him.

You're right interceptions is such a meaningless stat. So is completion percentage, not even sure why they keep track of it. Average or below average QBs don't have 3 straight games of 300 plus yards and 3 TDs. You didn't give any class or school anybody instead folks on here are laughing at you for the fact in proved you wrong and you don't have the ability to admit your wrong. Instead you talk about something else and dance around throwing crap at the wall hoping it would stick.

I asked you multiple questions which you failed to answer because you went to Google and seen you were wrong. That being said good day to you, enjoy your weekend
Again, your limited intellect prevents you from understanding concepts such as sample size. Cherry picking 8 games from the schedule and saying a person is going to have double that for the season is asinine. Dak was never going to pass for 32 TDs for the season. He finally started playing some hard games and his perfect kingdom fell apart and he didn’t even make it to last year’s paltry total. Meanwhile something like yards per attempt is an efficiency stat and not nearly as subject to sample size as raw counting totals. Sure enough his low YPA at the midway point was something that carried over into the second half of the year and a better indicator of how he was actually playing.
Your phony narrative that Dak was playing at an MVP level at any point has been blown to smithereens. There really isn’t anything left to add.

Again, what Dak needs isn't to be replaced. He needs a veteran QB to mentor him like just about every veteran QB. Think Brees would've been Brees without Flutie? Brady without Bledsoe? Young without Montana? Cousins wouldn't be the right QB to bring in. I said this earlier and on another thread, we need a veteran QB. I think Sam Bradford (if affordable), Matt Moore, or Kellen Clemens would be the right QBs to bring in. Kellen Clemens could be to Dak what Flutie was to Brees. Old? Yes. Able to teach Dak? I think so. Because we know Garrett can't teach players. A veteran QB can.
i'm more in favor of the "trial by fire" method. if you see qb12 on his site, tell him I said hi.

Will do. And I agree with the trial by fire argument. Though, I believe I made a post earlier about why I felt a veteran QB would be good. Like I said in that post, in 2016, Dak had Romo and Sanchez. In 2017, Romo and Sanchez weren't on the team anymore. Undoubtedly, Dak dealt with fire in 2016 just as he did in 2017. I think the difference is that Dak didn't have a veteran QB in 2017 to whom he could turn for advice. If he had one of the veteran QBs I listed, I think he'd have someone who can help him with those moments. After all, do you think Garrett will be a good giver of advice to Dak? I don't. I'd MUCH rather us have a veteran like Clemens or Moore to help Dak.

I can tell your reading comprehension is non existent. I never said anything about doubling Daks numbers. I mean come on dude let it go you were wrong. Now you want to make up stuff like you can't double a person season to make a point haha

I said the first half he was on pace with the MVP guys like Wentz and Watson. Which is true. You have been proven wrong so now you try to make your own narrative to fit. Let it go, you can't be right every time and this time you lost.

Go pay Cousins more money than the contract Romo signed a few years ago. He couldn’t even beat us and he only led Washington to the playoffs once. Those of you who want to sign him to a mega deal that would destroy our cap are losing it.

Why is it Dak only gets one year yet, some here are willing to pay approx. 30M to an average QB?.........mind boggling

That’s because there’s a lot of knuckleheads here. Whoever signs Cousins is going to have to break the bank.

You don't get to make up your own reality. He was not on pace with any MVP players, nor was he an MVP candidate in any way. He was utterly average on an average team. The numbers are clearly available to the public and anyone can pull them up. That you would think you could just sit there and lie about is an embarrassment. I don't know what's worse, that you would pretend it was true or that you actually believe it. You've been proven wrong dozens of time and you are still posting drivel. It's truly sad.

Well, the Chiefs are apparently going to.

Where have you been Mahomes is going to be their QB. They drafted him in the first round last year and he’s looked good when he’s played. I would keep an eye on Denver as a landing spot for Cousins.

Cousins is a good QB, I'd much rather have him than Dak for the next 5-7 years. Saying that, no way I would pay that amount of money (just wait and see) to a top 12-15 QB IMO.
For better or worse we are stuck with Dak, if he stinks it up again next year then we are probably drafting one in 2019.

I agree that we're "stuck" with Dak for better or for worse. However, I'm willing to be patient, and I think we should give him a veteran QB which young QBs need in their development. After all, do you think Garrett can develop him? I don't think so. But a veteran QB can.

Yeaaah, sorry. Alex Smith IS a Commander now. But Cousins is definitely out of Washington now.

Worked out good for KC they get a third round pick and a starting corner and will save 17M on their cap.

Cousins would not be the difference to a deep Dallas playoff run. Not to mention, he isn't worth the $$$ he will demand........no thanks

He can't beat us anyways, hope he replaces Eli :muttley:
