Ward is the best value. Hurts to say, but true. Second choice is Wynn.

if this mock is in real time...as it stands today...our starting OG is Chaz Green because Jonathan Cooper is hurt.
Let that sink in.
Yep. But lets keep drafting corners because strengthening the trenches isnt important!

We have a top 20 pick...if we take the 3RD best non pass rushing LB in the draft it would be a monumental mistake in my opinion.

Ward has to be BPA here...maybe Arden Key depending on how his character issues shake out.

Ward for this draft though

Lol. Who here has said the trenches are not important
We have 3 first round draftees and got lucky with another first rounder being a free agent. But yeah. Lets use another on an OL.

If we need 5 first round OL then we are pathetic
Im taking Wynn because he's the best OG not named Nelson.
2ndly...if we pass here...we better hope Hernandez or Price slips to 50...because after that it gets slim....but the CB class is deep.
3rd....we pass on Wynn here...do you trust this front office to NOT give us a f/a OG version of Byron Bell?

Wynn. It's not my biggest gripe when assessing a corner but there's a limit on how many undersized corners I want on a team and we've reached it as far as I'm concerned. 5'10 corners like Ward, unless they're really special are off my board at pick 19. And I don't see any that are really special.

I also think he'll struggle to out play Lewis and Awuzie where as Wynn is a walk up starter.

Right on. If Ward were 2-3 inches taller it would be completely different for me. I do like his fluid movement. Also, when a corner is handsey, some you can break of the habit, some you can't.

Wynn vs Hernandez - you know the level of competition Wynn faced. Much less "projection" involved. Clean solid pick at 19 even if it isn't what i would have preferred.
