Raiding the Seahawks

Byron Jones is going to seamlessly transition to starting CB huh? Sounds like nothing could go wrong

I think Byron is depth and a TE specialist. Maybe goal line specialist too. His length and athleticism make him a strong defender against post ups and jump balls.

I don't see him starting at CB, or even getting a fair shake to start. Last year of his contract.

Are we putting Byron at outside corner because it’s his best position or because he’s tall?
Because he is tall & he isnt an all pro yet.... dont you get this yet? If you arent an all pro for the cowboys you need to switch postions or be cut.

Someone might want to tell Kris Richards that the guys with stars on their helmets can't blatantly hold like the guys in Seattle...

BJones is not going back to CB

He is our best cover Safety by far and that is what he excels at...... taking on TEs across the deep middle

I agree that Jones is a good specialist at man coverage of a TE. I expect him to maintain that role. But I'd call that more of a corner than a safety.

Byron is on the outs because he hasn't become a hit with only one year left on his contract, and we picked up a lot of rookies this year who are the future. It's certain we let him test the free agent market. He'll be elsewhere in 2019.

We should be really excited about Kris Richards he helped put together one of the best secondaries in the NFL. We've also thrown a lot of resources into our secondary......

I am excited to see Kris Richard coming to Dallas. If anyone can improve our defensive backfield, I think it's Kris Richard. Good move by the Cowboys.

A smart team would have called a TO immediately upon seeing Graham on Lewis. It was beyond obvious what was about to happen.
Beyond the beyond.

And yes, that moment deserved a TO rather than letting it play out.

Or better yet, an audible, switching say, B Jones for him in said sit.

We don't go that far though...

It's play the play and play it your best... fingers crossed.

and the result doesn't matter, only that Garrett has the clap

The key word in this novel was "smart", so that goes us and explains the loss to the hawks.

That isn't his only skill

This hating on BJones is way overblown..... the rest of the league respects him more than his own fans

Exactly right.

Fans like splash plays. Jones doesn't provide enough for them therefore he sucks.

jones is a smart guy who listens well to instruction. the new backfield coach will only help him.

That's what I'm hoping for, Richards might actually bring out the true Jones.

Aaron Rodgers says hello...
Wow a Safety got beat by Aaron Rodgers
