Witten is a busta
Witten is a busta
Still dense... The 2008 TO example was used to refute your belief that somehow leading the team in receptions would suggest that you shouldn't be cut if you aren't playing to your cost.
Can't stay healthy..What? Why?
Oh I see you use as your example a player that was cut because like in Dallas he poisoned every locker room he was in. Witten on the other hand has been a true professional his entire career and his loved and respected by his team mates. Ya that example make just so much sense.
.
Let's not forget nepotism..This organization runs on sentimentality, nostalgia and whiskey.
Slower?Witten is Mr. Professional. Sure, he has gotten older and slower.
TO was also respected by his teammates.
Also how many playoff games has Witten's professionalism won us? Such a ridiculous statement.
Those monster ants... That's some stuff alone.I grew up in el paso, 1951-1963. Stung 100's of times by red and black/red harvester ants. Half a dozen scorpion stings. 1 unforgettable sting by a tarantula hawk and one tarantula bite. Still it was a great place to grow up.
Scorpion stings burned about 15 minutes. Ants burn about 3 hours. Back then there was just biggs, ft. Bliss and the rest of the population. Lots of desert. Those monster ants... That's some stuff alone.
Everyone is acting like we have a better option than the all time leading pass catcher of the Dallas Cowboys. He leads in catches and catch percentage. He will move to a backup role when someone beats him out.Witten will sit when we have a better option
Hopefully that’s Rico

Owens dd find a player maybe 2 that liked him on each team BUT Owens also POISONED EVERY locker room he was ever in. Now I see, you're just like others that want to blame a player for the lack of success the TEAM didn't have. You go ahead and be a Witten hater but don't expect a lot of company on that. Gee did Owens ever win the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, while poisoning those locker rooms? Lets see, Witten has.
.
Who do we have that is better? It's easy to hate on older players that are no longer pro bowlers. Who would you have started last year? You know you're wrong when you want to pay a player for what he has done as opposed to what he will do in the future...

That indicates that you don't study game footage of players.I happen to disagree with you. Chaz Green has been garbage since day 1.
They did carry a backup-backup OT which they have not done most years. There is a lot more to the Chaz Green story than 2 games in 2016. The guy has never been able to stay healthy. He ended 2016 on IR. He missed most of his college career with injury. He missed his rookie season with injury. So, the question isn't so much why we shouldn't expect him to repeat his 2 game performance of 2016. The questions should be why we ever depended on him to stay healthy and whose watching him in practice and thought he was good enough to put on the field in Atlanta? He made Adrian Claiborne look like the second coming of Reggie White instead of the mediocre DE he's always been.
What the hell are you babbling about? Who would you have started last year? I own my own company with three divisions. Do not screw with me. **** around with the kids. Never talk down to me again. Want to chat ownership and related challenges... happy to engage. Please define for me opportunity cost and alternative cost.
2 game sample is not near enough for analysis. They did carry a backup-backup OT which they have not done most years.
Green was good in the games he played at OT in 2016; therefore, it was reasonable to expect him to have a similar performance in 2017. They carried the extra OT in case Green was injured again.
Just because fans love to hate players like Green, it does not change the fact that he was good in 2016.
I realize most fans don't study game footage; therefore I don't expect most to comphehend what Green really has or hasn't done.
