A back up that holds the all time NFL playoff passer rating and completion % records? And single game TD record? In 2013, as a starter, Foles had one of the greatest regular seasons in NFL history.

His regular season stats are as good or better than Wentz straight across the board.

Nick Foles regular season stats as an Eagle:

31 games 27 starts
607 comp, 994 att, 61%, 7290 yds, 51 TDs, 19 INT, 92.7 pass rtg

Carson Wentz regular season stats as an Eagle:

29 games, 29 starts, 644 comp, 1047 att, 61.5% compl, 7078 yds, 49 TDs, 21 INT, 88.8 pass rtg.

What is it that makes Carson Wentz, a guy who has never taken a single snap in the playoffs, better than Foles, who is the no1 ranked completion % and passer rating NFL playoff QB of all time?

I don't think people are really thinking this through.

Actually, it's 5 to 4.

Unless the time the Eagles beat Vince Lombardi (his only playoff loss) for the Championship doesn't count to you?
it doesn't.
neither do the eagles.

5>4.....there.....better.

Since 1996, the teams with the fewest playoff wins in the NFL:

Bengals, Browns, Lions, Cowboys.

Since the Cowboys were last in the Superbowl, NFC East teams have gone to 9 NFC championship games, played in 5 Superbowls, and won 3 of them.

The Cowboys were great once. But it was a long time ago. Let's face it folks- as long as Jerrah is in charge, the Cowboys days of glory will fade farther and farther into the past.

I feel your pain though. I've felt it myself. And don't feel too bad...we can all still point at the Commanders and laugh. ;)

Nick Foles, Pederson, and Roseman are all master class chess players. Foles purposefully played dreadfully against the Raiders and Cowboys to look like he was broken and worthless so that teams would underestimate him in the playoffs. Genius move before deciding to play at his true potential when the games counted.

They definitely do not count as Super Bowl wins

SB era dude. Now I know you are desperate to try and make things look better for your birds but you really need to leave the time of leather helmets

But more on the topic at hand. What Nick Foles is he is the poster child of being in the right system at the right. In the right system with a good supporting group you've seen what he can do. It's not the players job to make the right circumstances that's on the FO and coaches. The players job is be a cog in the machine. If the machine runs well each cog is doing its part. If the machine is out of sorts who cares about the individual parts?

Nick has also been worse than you can even imagine. Thinking this through would actually entail using your thought processes to realize that it's never wise to put your money on the hoss that has been both really good and really bad. And it's not like Nick had a soso stretch, I mean he was terrible. So, which is the real Nick Foles? We do not know.
