Is he a QB or a WR in your book?

To me he is a WR just doesn’t have the build to be a out of the pocket running QB. He is not very good in the pocket. He reminds me of RG3 and I think Watson will end up same way all beat up. If you want to be a running QB you better be built like Cam. I think Jackson could be a special WR 6-3 210 with some good speed.

I don't know what he'll wind up playing, but IMO the position he would most likely have the best success at is WR. His lack of accuracy at QB could doom him in the NFL.

I read somewhere he would be working out at both positions at the combine. I only read it in one place, so I don't know how true it is.

Yes
QB on some plays yes.
WR on some plays yes
RB on some plays yes
TE on some plays yes.
HB on some plays yes.

He would be an extremely dynamic player with the "right" offensive coordinator.

I hope he does work out at both.

I think he gets drafted as a QB before the second round is over.
If that doesn't pan out for him, then try another position.

Yeah according to Polian he should be a Wr because of he is too small (height wise) to be a qb. Polian forgot that Wilson is 5'11, Brees is 6'0" and tom Brady is 6'4".

QB for sure. His thin build does need to add some weight but he's a round 2 or 3 QB as opposed to a guy you draft in round 4 as a WR to train up on the position.
If he can't stay healthy or get on the field at QB perhaps you move him later.

Would be a pretty interesting back up QB IMHO. One that could actually play some snaps elsewhere and bring a dynamic element.

I wouldn't be mad if Dallas drafted him in rounds 2 or 3 tbh.
Toss him in some snaps with Dak and you never know which guy is gonna throw it or run it.
One way to expand the playbook real quick.

When you look at Lamar Jackson, he looks like a WR with his build and with his speed and moves, he has the toolset to be special there.

However, he's also pretty good at being a QB and that's what he's been playing for the last several years. So, he's a qb.

Although I don't think its omgRACIST to think that he could work as a WR too.

if he's there in the 4th, take a swing at him....nah, Dallas would NEVER draft a QB in the 4th round

Lots of people complain about Daks accuracy around here.

Dak was college career 62.8% with 66.2% in his last season

Jackson was a 57% completion with 59.1% in his final season.

So how can everyone who rags on Dak be ok with Jackson. If you think Jackson will be making plays with his feet he is 211lbs Dak is 230lbs. Dak is built like a RB Jackson is built like a WR Jackson won’t hold up. If you are going to be a mobile QB need to be built like Dak and Cam of not you end up like RG3 and looks like Watson is headed down the same path.
