See here's a perfect example of how some fans can't handle a player they're all in on getting criticized. I NEVER said or implied I "hated" Dez. That's an erroneous statement and quite lazy.
I can give you a list of examples of why Dez is not a professional and is not mentally equipped. But, you'll ignore it or discount it because in your mind Dez is some elite play maker.
It doesn't mean hatred. Too many fans think they grasp it's definition.

Now, answer the question what good Irvin would be on a football field without someone with the arm and accuracy of Aikman? He would be worthless b/c WR is a secondary position. They are only as effective as the QB can get them the ball. Dez was phenomenal with Romo. We now have a different QB whose not quite as good throwing the ball. So, what good is Dez? In a salary capped league, paying Dez 14 million a year to do what he's been doing the past 3 seasons is poorly spent money, and prevents the team from bringing in quality free agents.

Landry has more yardage and more catches, and Miami has had a bad QB situation since he arrived. Imagine what he might do with a good QB. We've already seen what Dez is going to do with Dak and its not worth his cap hit.

Getting tagged is less desirable than a 5 year 70 million dollar deal. If Landry sucks next year, Miami is out clean. Dallas has been stuck with Dez regardless of production.

Seems like there's always a player on the roster who the FO goes batty in regard to salary amount. I also agree Dez is a distraction.
