He thinks we just needed one game to "make a run" in the playoffs. No. We just weren't that good a team. The offense had big issues, starting with Dez and Williams.

Michael talks about Dez taking double teams. I don't think so. Teams were mostly playing Dez man up, and those were his numbers. If anything, Beasley took more double teams than Dez.

We went 9-7 on the strength of beating the Eagles' cheerleaders. We couldn't beat the Seahawks while the season was still up for grabs, and they weren't a playoff team either.

Michael doesn't want to blow up the band, when in fact the band just wasn't that good, Dez has been a declining part of that band, and you'd *expect* that decline to continue given his injury history and age.

Lol Mike is right, Dez faced many games where if appeared to be one on one, but teams had a safety over the top. Irvin can read coverage.

I agree with playmaker that the owners are throwing far too much info out...

Things bugging me the most is us moving Jones to corner and showing how desperate we will be at safet making a possible Earl Thomas trade more costly

Saying scandrick won’t be on the team... killing whatever trade value he had going forward

Just shut it with dez. If your gonna get rid of him do it. If your gonna keep him do it. But don’t put tidbits out there.

If you watch one of the many videos out there right now and see how off Dak was this year, you can't honestly say you don't take back some : of those bad feelings about Dez. Sure Dez dropped a few , but he was sooooo open and had bad throws way more than the drops. There isn't a WR out there that could help us more than Dez could help us this year. Stop with the stupid trade scenarios, this isn't Madden kids. Stop trying to convince people that third team guys from Seattle, LA, or Jax is going to be better than Dez. It makes you look like JJ or JG.
And like I've said for two months now, with Dez or w/o Dez, with Zeke or Dak or without them, with Lee or Hitch, or JW or without them, we are the same 8-8 next year, or the same 11-5 team with a first round playoff loss. That won't change until JJ hires a GM and a HC.

Heard this on the way home yesterday. Wish this guy would bring his passion to the coaching circle but the gig he has now is obviously to good to give up. Up and down this current roster does anyone even come close to this passion? This team is littered with exceptional talent but is there one with the heart of Emmitt, the passion of Irvin, and the unquestioned leadership of Aikman...aww the good ole days.

I'm not protecting the Cowboy's FO and especially Jerry and Stephen because they deserve scrutiny but, Mike should tend to his own
back yard these days and stay away from babes in hotels not his wife. Everyone is a critic these days I guess. There is little doubt that Dez, Witten & Scandrick should leave the building and soon.

Hey, Marshal Faulk won SB's as did Deion. I don't listen to either of them either. Both ripped Romo a new one every chance they got. Irvin is a complete homer that's my issue. Hey I don't pay much attention to Broadus and the DC.com writers either. That's just me though
