Suspension for Odell Beckham?

There is no bad deed the NFL is cracking down harder on than domestic violence. We’ll have to see what if anything comes of this but it can’t be compared with domestic violence. Despite this video OBJ wasn’t arrested or charged with a crime. He could end up getting in trouble for this by the league we’ll just have to see. The video just surfaced if something comes of it it’s not going to happen today or tomorrow. At least give it some time.

Doesn’t matter what you think it falls under it matters what the league and his team thinks of it. The video is so short it’s hard to substantially prove anything. It certainly doesn’t look good but not sure there’s enough there for anything to come of it.

Oh, ok. I'd imagine a decent attorney could get OBJ off since he's not in possession but I'm not an attorney nor do I play one on the internet.

Either way, the police didn't bust in, so what are the legal repercussions from just this video? Now as far as the NFL is concerned, that as you know is a different animal.

Last I check there has been little proving with the entire #metoo movement. I'm not disagreeing with what you are saying. I'm just saying that if he is fair game to be caught in the muddied waters of the #metoo movement even with the video being so short. Heck it only takes one angry feminist to turn him into the next Bill Cosby pushing his drugs with the innuendo of sex. Getting all the innocent young women drugged up so he can force them into bad sexual situations against their will.

There would be zero legal ramifications for the purpose of a court of law. There would be lots of factors for conviction but probable cause would exist for charges based on what is seen.

How else could it be viewed? Some fans of the Cowboys want OBJ treated the same way as Zeke? I think that's fair. So let the investigation begin and the facts come out. Zeke had his investigated so OBJ should also have his. Or should OBJ be suspended tomorrow when the league office opens up?

I'm also not a big believer of east coast bias. But I'm from the east coast so I may be biased.
 
Breaking News: Goofell reportedly suspending Beckham from March 12th concurrently through July 31st. This with the approval of Mara

Didn't follow that story as closely as you may have. All I know is that a few idiot players went on a boat a week before a playoff game. Horrible time to do it much like a Cabo trip but why should it have been investigated?

Some here are acting like only the Cowboys get punished and everyone else is free to do whatever they want. If the NFL feels this is a violation of league policy they’re going to do something about it. There isn’t anything in that short video clip that shows OBJ drugging that woman and forcing her into a sexual situation against her will. Good luck trying to prove that. Lol Funny how some of you are trying to spin what you want into that video. Has the girl in that video come forward accusing him of that? You’re going to need her testimony if you want to go there.

a couple of the guys in that pic where smoking some weed. i'm not calling for an investigation but it seems like Odell is always around some drugs.

I honestly wouldn’t. I’m not a huge Dez fan because he can’t control himself (or catch the ball) but Odiva makes Dez look mature. I can’t stand players who jeopardize their teammates and fans due to selfish actions. Odiva is a liability, I promise you I wouldn’t want him anywhere near this team. Plenty of championship teams win without great receivers like him.
