What an empty statement. Full of hyperbole, bluster and not much else.

Do you think salaries will go down is the question. My answer is that they won't, your answer is.............well you can't answer that question and still have an argument.

Give me a break...

Prove your argument with numbers and facts, not empty statements.

This is the salary cap over the years, where do you think that this extra money is going to? Well if you're watching Dallas then you probably can't tell.

Year Maximum team salary
2018 $177.2 million[14]
2017 $167.00 million
2016 $155.27 million[15]
2015 $143.28 million[16]
2014 $133 million[17]
2013 $123 million[18]
2012 $120.6 million[19]
2011 $120 million[19]

Because the Cowboys didn't overpay a FA this week they are pathetic now?

I got news for you. It doesn't matter where the Jones family was in this world, the Cowboys weren't going to sign any of those overpaid players.

This is weak, your GM should be working or available during the most important weeks of the year. Any other GM in pro sports would be fired for going on vacation during FA period, if Will McClay was GM you would be calling for his head and you should be.

Even if we are underpay in FA, it has proven to not workout, see exhibit A last year, not alot of money and none of them even finished the year out. Wasted money there. As my buddy use to say " you pay for what you get". Shopping at the thrift store will come back to haunt you.

I don’t think Will and Jason were on vacation. Just the Jone$

But our Free Agency revolved around 17 million to D Law and not loosening up 12 million retaining Dez.

It’s a wrap for FA 2018 Cowboys . Lol

Yeah, salary has gone up (and will continue to do so) but that doesn't mean you overpay for players of average ability or you won't be able to afford the better ones.

What better ones? This fo is doing something terribly wrong when you can't improve your team on the level that other, better teams are doing. Do you think that we've gotten closer to Philly, Minn, NO, GB this off season? You have to overpay to get the player that you want and if you have a salary in mind that was what a player was getting on 2016 then you probably won't sign anyone, why are smarter team signing these player? Put it this way The Cowboys were seriously thinking about cutting Dez but after seeing what unaccomplished wrs were getting the found they were getting a bargain.
