No worries. This just means Fleming hasn't put pen to paper yet.

The Cowboys have been negotiating with Fleming since Monday or Tuesday it seems; plenty of time for his agent to gauge another team's interest if they have any.

Yeah and Schefter who first reported it is basically a mouthpiece for agents. If Fleming's agent is saying its a deal it most likely they have come to terms.

So, has the Flemming signing been officially announced? I'm very interested in the numbers.

I'd be perfect fine with Evans, James, Vea, Smith, Edmunds, Payne or Hurst in round 1. Hoping we avoid Davenport, Vander Esch, Key and Landry.

I've surprisingly seen several reputable mocks recently with James or Smith falling to use, which would be magnificent.

Evans is the best LB in the draft IMO and its not even close for me. I love Edmunds, but he has a ways to go just to be as good as Evans is now.

That said, I would be ecstatic with Davenport. He reminds me of Demarcus Ware.

Realistically, I'd be happy with Evans, Vander Esch, Roquan Smith, Edmunds, Derwin James, Hernandez, Landry, Hurst, Mike Hughes.
I'm not considering any 1Ts because they aren't taking one in the first round, tho I would consider it if I was in charge.

I’m a little worried. Should I be?

I wouldn’t.

He’s been on the market for a week and no visits have been taken.

I’m pretty certain he just needs to sign the contract. They likely needed the cash, moved Wittens money and he is flying back

Hope your right. I don’t want to jinx this signing, but didn’t we have a FA a couple years ago who backed out at the last second and was retained by his original team. Don’t do it NE!!

Not a sexy pick that will excite the Sunday fan but a solid signing. If it really does happen. Rams, Texans could upset the apple cart.

Haley couldn't cover. Evans actually makes plays in coverage out in space. That combination of burst, speed, physicality, and love of contact I don't recall wearing a star since Norton.

Admittedly, I don't know much about Evans. But I loved watching Haley play...

If the draft goes well Red Jesus might actually have no excuses.

He's too raw for my liking. He could be great or out of the NFL in three years. We're close enough that we don't need to be taking such risks.
