Homers are rooting against the Cowboys now? Fascinating.
Hows that
I'll guess your reply is homers will be we applauding that we glad Dez was cut and that makes us a weaker team.
The only thing I can say is what was so great about Dez. I liked him but he was a Prima Donna and wasnt putting in the work.
A known poor route runner? Had a 62 % catch. The money killed Dez

It's easy to say you would have taken a cut AFTER you have already been released.

BUT, if it's true than this release makes me go from neutral to disappointed in a hurry.

So Dez saying the offense needed to be more creative got Garrett's panties in a bunch, so Dez had to go.

And Dez also said he would have taken a pay cut if offered, but that was never even mentioned to him:facepalm:

Man, my hate for Garrett grows by the day and it would almost be comical watching that loser go through a 4-12 season with his firing happening at the end of it. Nobody deserves it more than this loser.

When Dez mentally checked out in the Seattle game last season, I was done with him. It was a game we needed, a game we needed him to show up for & he sat on the bench like he couldn't give a damn about anything, especially this team.

I didn't say that, all offers will be around the same amount. What I'm saying is that Dez will not go to the Browns for a million more than the Commanders.

And what I'm saying is that there will not be a bidding war for Dez. He's not even a #1 on most of the contenders. Dez knows his days of getting paid are running short and he's not giving up a lot of $$ just so he can play Dallas twice a year. Like I said, if he does sign a cheap deal it will be filled with incentives so he can make a lot more. He will be out of the league in 3 years because teams won't touch him, just like TO. Dez is not the final piece to anyone's puzzle...

Is there any way I can peel off the "bryant" lettering on my nike Dallas cowboys Jersey and iron on "irvin"? I don't want a perfectly nice Jersey to go to waste.....is this possible???

This move was all about the defense and a philosophy change. We are putting more resources on defense and TE. Bowman is next to come to Dallas.

I would rather keep trying then to take on a defeatist attitude that despite my front office continued failure, I cant do any better.

So yea, I keep trying.......I don't just throw up my hands and quit..........but maybe that is just me.

I think the point slipped away here.

It's hard to win the Superbowl. In 22 years, 13 teams have won. Some multiple times.

Teams that have changed GMs multiple times have lost.

Teams that have changed head coaches multiple times have lost.

Teams that have kept the same GM has lost.

Simply changing our GM, which will never happen any way, does not guarantee anything.

And the tides are changing. Stephen is taking on much more control. The team is being managed much differently.

So we have, in essence, changed our GM.

Our drafts have been better. We were one game away from the NFC championship game just a year ago. We are smarter in FA. We are much more responsible with contracts.

I personally think that Garrett is squarely in the cross hairs this year. I want to see him gone. This is also Marinellis last year.

This upcoming year is a big year. Do we have a franchise QB. Does Garrett stay. Who runs the defense in 2019.

Good stuff ahead. I'm excited.

If you have to peel it off, just buy another one.

If you have to cut the threads, could be possible if you take it into someone.

That's the game the encompasses the Dez Fiasco and why he is no longer a Cowboy. That game was very winnable. He mentally decided he didn't wanna play that day. SELFISH!! Notice in that interview with Jane Slater he NEVER EVER takes responsibility for him being cut. He blamed "team coaches, staff and an inner clique of unnamed players." He is soooo dramatic. Instead of blaming his performances or lack thereof over the last 2 years...he throws unnamed folks under the bus...like a chump. Good Riddance. I hope we do play you two times a year.

He's a cancer. Time to get better personalities in the locker room and free up some cap room in the process.

I do agree this upcoming year is huge.............if Garrett once again misses the playoffs, I don't see how he can return in 2019.

Michael Irvin, now he was a true #1 WR. Even when the defense knew the ball was going to him they couldn't stop him. Can't say that about Dez...
