I still don't understand why SO MANY people still don't understand that Tony Romo decided to NOT continue his playing career. Yes, Dallas cut him. But, the fact that HE chose to go to CBS tells me all I need to know..............Romo knew his body was done. So, in all honesty, did the Cowboys really have a hard decision to make? Doesn't sound like it.

Hypothetical and will get flamed.

If Dallas went with Jalen Ramsey instead of Zeke in the draft two years ago are Romo and Dez still here? Does Dak look just as good in his rookie year? My opinion, Dak shows some promise but Romo is still the guy when he comes back from injury.

Oh Lord, not again!! A Ramsey V Zeke and Romo V Dak thread rolled into one!! This thread will go on forever. Get out the energizers!!

I wanted Ramsey still do. But if you look at it the way you are I am happy we took Zeke then. You may have 100% changed my view on that. I'm shocked someone found a way for me to be happy to have Zeke over Ramsey

I would of perfered Jalen.

Then again we wouldn't of loved his attitude or swagger, and would have ruined him

Had Dallas not drafted Zeke then we wouldnt be fooling around with Dak for the next 3 years! This thread should read where would Dallas be if they had traded up to secure Wentz.

People would be whining they picked a QB that could not stay healthy as he is out with a bum knee.
He would be labled Tony II.

And we would have not had a back up QB that could take us to that QB, Garrett would blow it, and we will be right where we are now.

I had thought Tony Romo had said at one point that he wanted to compete for his starting job. He also brought up the whole meritocracy bit.

With Romo and Zeke can you say Superbowl.....That 8 in box Tony and Dez would bust it out big time and in turn give Zeke a 2000 yard season!
IF Romo was healthy, which he wasn't so it's just fantasies and dreams. Romo was hurt in preseason hence the reason Dak was the starter

Not only that but the Debbie Downers would complain about Wentz accuracy here. Since he is in Philly he is the greatest thing though. They would complain about all his screen passes and him throwing 5 yards

Knowing who our QB is now, I thank the football God's that we took Zeke. Dak would be in a world of hurt without a dynamic player behind him.

Ramsey was NOT the better pick for Dallas. Jacksonville didn't start to turn it around until they got their own zeke in Fournette.

So your saying a very good RB helps a below average QB? Alot? Zeke > Dak = Bortles, Fournette > Bortles=Dak. I think your wrong, Jacksonville turned it around because they built a SB quality D, not because of Fournette. And we will need to do the same here in order to carry our offense going forward

Romo would be in a wheelchair now after the Atlanta game last year!

I didn't really want a RB there, but I'm not mad about it. He's a great player. If your goal is to accumulate great players then it's a success.

I wanted to target Howard Jordan in the later rounds. Reminded me of Murray at the time and was a steal in round 5 for the bears. We could have saved the zeke pick and taken Ramsey, Buckner, Rankins, or whomever.
