Patagonia - I live in the outdoors rafting, kayaking, backpacking, fishing, hunting, climbing, etc... Their clothes are ridiculous expensive and worth every penny if you're hard on them and depend on them.

Rainbow Sandals - I pretty much wear nothing but flip flops and work boots. Rainbows last forever and don't stink.

Toyota Tacomas - I'm 45 and have only had 3 trucks in my life. All 4X4 Tacomas. Love them.

Buffalo Trace Bourbon - Keep your expensive stuff. I can drink it neat, on the rocks, with a shot of water, or with a Coca-Cola and never find better.

Spyderco Paramilitary knives - I'm real hard on knives and have a hard time keeping an edge on them. These are light, easy to sharpen and have great edge retention.

Lodge Cast Iron - Particularly the 12 inch skillet. You can cook over coals, on a burner, fry with it, bake with it, and use it as self defense. Takes a licking and keeps on cooking.

BC Powder - If you can get it down your throat it's the best hangover helper on the face of the planet.

Zippo lighters - I've filled mine with everything from white gas, kerosene, unleaded, paint thinner, Naptha, and Everclear. All they do is keep on lighting.

Kindles - I don't know how many hours I've spent roaming around a library or driving to the local book exchange, but my Kindle was a life changer for me.

Weber Gas Grills - I've had my Weber gas grill for 15 years. I cook on it probably twice a week and have never replaced a single part on it.

Carhartt work pants - Mine look like they were peeled of a homeless person while they slept, but they're still the toughest, most functional, and most comfortable britches I own.

Winchester Model 70 30.06 - If you could own only 1 rifle in North America this would be the one. I got mine for my 14th birthday and have taken elk, muleys, whitetail, turkey, pronghorn and Axis.

Hey, thought it might be cool to share information on brands of anything that we like and why we like them. At least we can be honest unlike the athletes getting paid for it. Think Tiger Woods drove Buicks? His wife ran him down trying to escape in an Escalade and beat hell out of him with a golf club. The irony of that always brought a smile.

Sure, there are different tastes with regards to food and beverage but we might just turn on other members to some of the discoveries that we've made. Can be anything that you like.I'm a fan of Makers Mark bourbon, Tim Smiths ''Climax'' moonshine, 1800Tequilla * anejo ,Patron is good but too pricy.Corona beer in the summer ,Guinness in the fall and winter. an occasional vintage 1991 Rocky Patel cigars.

I'll start and since this is a Cowboys site, I will start with a former favorite and one of the real Cowboys to be a Cowboy, Walt Garrison. I made a point of finding-getting a pic of me standing next to his jersey at the stadium. there is a old pic of him in a hot tub sporting a cowboy hat smoking a cigar that I always remember him by. its on the third level our side of the field jest in case you make it to a game.

I usually make my own salsa and sauces but I tried his medium salsa several years ago and it's the best jarred salsa I've had, really balanced well. I can't find it here, Texas, makes sense doesn't it? So I order it online from his company, in Texas, and I tried his BBQ sauce and if you like a sweet and thick sauce, it is very good, I am more of a vinegar guy. But that salsa? Bueno bueno.[/QUOTE

That was a busy man. Founded the country, turned himself black, and invented peanut butter.

Kirkland American Vodka Six X Distilled. Thee best tasting vodka (actually has practically no taste!). It only cost $18.99 compared to all the top shelf Vodkas....like Grey Goose, Chopin, Belvedere.

Look for a potato vodka. It's usually far smoother than most grain vodka and you can find them for around $10-$15. I used to buy one that was $9.99 When it comes to vodka. Smooth is where it's at which is why I recoil when people say they like Kettle One or Grey Goose. They are like drinking sand paper. Though it doesn't matter what it is if you blend it with something else.

Champion exercise shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Stretchy jeans from Costco. Forgot the brand. Only kind of jeans I will wear to work. Heck if I can find some stretchy kahki shorts I'll buy em!!
