I don't watch the mountain west. I stick with the big boy conferences. DJ Moore and Ridley were always the 2 best wrs. Vander Esch is a small school projection coming off a cervical neck injury.
Except he played all the last couple seasons with that supposed "injury"

The report at ***USER-BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1***indicated that Vander Esch — a possible first-round linebacker following a breakout 2017 season — had been removed from at least one team's board for medical reasons, and it added that four other teams believed he was a second-round talent.

The WF report doesn't specifically mention which injury concerned teams most, as the 6-foot-4, 256-pound Vander Esch did suffer multiple injuries in his career at Boise State.

Well, that is not exactly. Sounds really vague to me. Cowboys specifically did a medical check on his rumored neck issues but I thought maybe you actually knew something.

I’m happy w him. I wanted Derwin or vea but now it’s obvious we have a trade in place for earl. We would have traded up for earl if not
I pray we don't trade for Thomas now. That would mean we have no chance of getting a number 1 receiver this year.

I disagree. Dak is going to have no where to go with the ball at this rate. Look for teams to load the box , stuff the short throws, and give Zeke fits again b/c we have nobody on the outside they need to worry about.
They shouldn't have cut Dez then since they have an old man and an injury limited LB and a couple of JAGs. You can't win with that in the NFL.

Thats what I talking about. The South Carolina TE would have made more sense than a BSU LB with injury issues. You gotta give Dak some targets. We currently have the worst receiving core in the NFL.

And the falcons just added ridley opposite Julio jones. Wow

I talked to the guy at the liquor store and he said that their is no DNA evidence to suggest that LVE is related to Bobbie Carpenter.

He's 6 3" 252, Lawrence was 6 3" 251 at the combine, he could play either scheme equally well!
Can't compare the two. I love Landry so I'm not against him at all. Would have picked him over LVE if it were my pick. But Lawrence had a different frame that you could project filling out better than Landry. And Lawrence was a Rd. 2 pick, btw.

No way. Again, our LB Corps was an accident waiting to happen. We lost at least 3 or 4 games last season primarily because we couldn't stop the run.

Wasn't the stinger 2 years ago?

Probably 2/3 of the players on the field any given day have suffered neck stingers. It's a common thing in contact sports. Is not a disabling injury.

Its not about the player. Its about getting in the game and managing the draft. We rarely ever maximize are draft value.

Let's hope he's the next Frederick - a guy that seems like a reach, but turns out even better than his pick.

We at least have a lot of history with Boise, so maybe we have a better line on him than other teams.

one reason LB made sense....its not as deep as the WR class.
You could stretch it to the 4th or 5th if you wanted.
They wont....but you couldnt do that at LB.
I mocked Ridley to us at 19...and the LB options start to run thin.
This was a good pick.
Give it a chance.
