Players seem to ignore Garrett for the most part. His clapping and repeating of rote motivational phrases is not inspiring. Coaches are toothless. One scene in particular had the RB coach pissed off and complaining about Zeke. Coach said he was "sick of this bull****" but then in the next scene he's practically giving Zeke a hug and a lollipop. Don't even get me started on the girl's blouse that is the WR coach! Defensive meetings before gametime had a conspicuous absence of Marinelli. Sean Lee ran the whole meeting and did all of the talking. I guess Rod is there to show funny Youtube videos to the defense. And every time we laid an egg here comes Jerry to the postgame meeting to talk about how good the boys are and gee-whiz, it wasn't their fault or some such crap.

My God...how did we win 9?

You continue to amaze.

- First, you should rewatch the scene with the RB coach. He said he was pissed, but understood what was going on.

- Second, Defensive meetings before game time had a conspicuous absence of Marinelli? I take it you watched all the edited material too?

I’ll watch in November if the Cowboys have an 7-3 type record.

I hate to be put in a position to defend this team, but people are taking a lot way out of context.

You don't know these players, their lives, or how they work. They've made it to the highest stage in the sport and that has to be considered.

Players look bored or tired in meetings? When were these filmed? Is it in the beginning of the day end of the day after long practices? One thing you should have noticed, but I'm sure many didn't was that the monitors are in the front of the room and the coaches are in the back. Meaning the players are looking away from the coaches most of the time.

The cameras aren't well placed to gauge interest at all. You have no idea what they're looking at most of the time.

on a side note, are you a trainer? I'm on a quest to lose 80 lbs (12 down, 68 to go) and would love to have arms like that gal on the right in your sig pic.

Looks like she had some severe diet discipline ( or cheated with drugs which I hope is not the case)

End of episode 8, Garrett was talking about how their would be turnover on staff because they all have to be on the same page buying into the Jason Garrett message and selling it to the players. He said they can't have the rolling of the eyes, here we go again attitude as coaches.

Even the coaches were tired of the same message being delivered, so it's no wonder the team seems tuned out as well. The new staff will be Garrett yes men.

He’s a party boy. I’m worried we have more problems ahead with him. Remember next incident and he’s gone.

I'm hoping the suspension got him thinking where he will be more dedicated. Not sure how long it will last.

Zeke surprised me too , It looked like he was sleeping in one of the film sessions , always seemed to tune out the running backs coach , and whats the deal with always playing with his hair???? I'm a Dez supporter but I now see the problem they had with him . It seemed like he was always looking for a fight ...with either a coach or player , it didn't matter . I may be wrong , its just what I noticed.

I got through like 3.5 episodes and passed out. I'm loving it to be honest. Might watch it all a second time through in August.

We’ll see. While under investigation didn’t get his attention .

He's a rich young athlete and probably thought he was invincible. Now he knows he can't always get things his way.
Whether the whole incident was fair or not, he should now realize how things work in the real world. Hope it was a wake up call for him and makes him more responsible. We'll see.

Garrett is morphing into The Godfather, a motivational Godfather. He runs around spewing tired cliches making sure no one disrespects the family :muttley:

If you go against the Godfather or question anything, you will get whacked :lmao:

He wants a team and coaching staff of only "yes men". I now know why the gutting happened on both sides of the ball. He is firmly entrenched in the Jones family and it will take a miracle to get him out, like multiple 4-win seasons in a row

I know we saw limited footage but the X's and O's seem to be missing.........that is The Godfathers way

This is pretty universal across pro football lockerrooms, and even colleges for that matter. A lot of leeway is given to players with great talent.

But I didnt like some of Zeke's at all. You can tell he's hyper entitled. Is the will to win and be the best exist when his talent begins to dip?

Anybody find it kind of funny that there are complaints about Dak not throwing the ball downfield, and the only time throwing downfield was brought up by the coaches was as an excuse for making a mistake? Wade indicated that Dak threw an interception and he could have checked down but we weren't going to win the game by checking down. I got a chuckle out of that one, but never a mention of needing to take more shots downfield to open up the offense.
