I choose to not make excuses for Dez and try to divert the topic to other areas as you continue to do.
Meltdowns, lack of focus, poor decision making, poor attitude toward the team and staff, whining, complaining on social media, poor execution, being a distraction etc....
All of these things collectively are why in the middle of last season I had enough of Dez and felt the team needed a change.
Turns out the FO and staff agreed.

Excuse for what? You are making things an issue that I don't think are an issue.

Dropped passes? Issue - no excuse.
Fumble? One time occurrence, but shouldn't have happened - no excuse.
Having passion and wearing emotions on his sleeve? - Not an issue, no excuse needed.

Whining? What you talking about, Willis?
Poor attitude? What you talking about, Willis? I wish more players had his attitude toward the team and staff.
The FO and staff agreeing with you should probably make you question your conclusion.

I have not diverted the topic. I'm not sure you understand what that means. Offering a comparison, that you seem to like, because that's the alternative you are pushing, is not diverting.

You're blind and or refuse to see another perspective. If you honestly don't get that Dez has whined, had a poor attitude etc than you don't get that you don't get it.
Dez got by on his incredible skill set up until 2014, not his attitude and distractions he brought on the team. The FO has illustrated this, are they lying because it's not what you want to hear? Please.

Then you had a predetermined mindset from the beginning.
No, that comment about Talib & Harris plus tipping 5-6 balls into interceptions gave me that mindset. When you watch a game and you have to question whether someone caught the ball or not everytime there's a problem

That's right. There's plenty of factual evidence without a predetermined mindset.

I would have told Dez to sit down and learn to catch the ball on third downs.

Yes. That's what should have happened. But then ou do that and the mental midget can't handle it and you have full blown malignant cancer. There was no correct way to handle Dez. It was a lose/lose situation for the entire team.

In episode one of All or Nothing, WR coach Dooley was in film study with the WRs and they were prepping for the Denver game.

Dooley said something to the effect of "these guys are really good, if we want to succeed then we need to bring our A game."

Well after he said this, Dez pitched a fit, saying something to the effect of "Man why you gotta always be like that, these guys aint that good and you're always talking about how good other teams are and never believing we can beat them, why can't you tell us we are good" and so on. It really sounded whiny and Dez sounded like a total drama queen. He was basically mad that Dooley wasn't stroking his ego.

The part that blew my ever-loving mind was that Dooley, the COACH, flippin APOLOGIZED! What in the hell?? Since when do coaches have to apologize to their players for being real? Denver's D is no joke. He was trying to let them know it wasn't going to be easy.

Welp, we got absolutely dominated that game. 42-17.

I know a lot of us don't want to believe it, myself included, but I think Dez was a rough person to deal with behind the scenes.

Did this rub any of you the wrong way?

Yes, Glad Dez is gone. The coach needs to grow a pair but at the time Dez probably had a direct line to Jerry

So, only your interpretation is valid, and you're saying I'm blind or refuse to see another perspective?

About the time you start thinking Scandrick has finally arrived as a good player he always took 2 steps back.

I'm glad the Scandrick era is over to be honest. He will be easily replaced.
Sad part is they tried so hard to replace him but whiffed so bad on claiborne and Carr. Our secondary has been weak for a decade.

There's no mystery. The things that Dez has said and done speak for themselves, clearly. And that's what I'm posting.
You can keep calling it "passion and being competitive" and that's fine, I won't think of you any less. I simply disagree that that is all it is.

It's fine, we disagree, that doesn't make me blind or someone who refuses to see something. I see things differently. I do think they speak for themselves (though, obviously there is a lot of context we're not privy to with a lot of stuff), but in a different way.

I've been right behind the bench on a few occasions, so I've seen/heard things first hand. I don't expect everyone to share that idea, but Dez has some issues that go beyond his physical skill set. that's all I'm saying. There's a surplus of examples for anyone otherwise.

Dez better hope other teams aren’t watching this show. I wouldn’t want him anywhere near my team if I had a young group of receivers.

Link is banned but Marcellus told facts
I agree with Bennett. Guys just want straightforwardness. Garrett is a little girl that can’t relate to all types.

My point exactly you just proved it, there wasn’t 5-6 balls tipped by Dez that were ints. Nothing was wrong about not wanting to hear a slobberfest over two players.

Exactly, and no teammate has ever said Dez was an issue. Even in the show outside of the competition between him and Lewis, which was just competition, it showed how good of a teammate he was.

When the athletes started making more money than the coaches.
