Is Dak set up to fail?

If Dak ends up middle of the pack in passing again and our passing offense is lower tier while missing the playoffs we’ll see how much support we’ll have in making Dak our future.

If he guides us to the playoffs then we will look past those weaknesses.

It all revolves around winning.

The games against NY, Philly and Minn to close 2016 Dak weaknesses were exposed. And it carried over into 2017.

The better defenses can force the issue with him. Fortunately we don’t play good defenses every week.

Ultimately winning will cure all ills. If not then his passing skills will be heavily criticized.
He had a QBR over 100 against MIN and played one series against PHI.

The games against NY, And Min didn’t close the season.

The last 3 meaningful games, against the Lions, Bucs and Packers, Dak played very well. He had some of his best games of the season.

The Lions were a playoff team, and the Bucs were playoff contenders, almost a playoff team.

He struggled against the Giants and Minnesota. Two of the best defenses in the league. Big surprise, two very good defenses gave an offense a hard time. Last I checked Dak made a few big plays to help win that Vikings game too btw.

So again, back and check your history.

Yep. He had some atrocious games in 2016 when he mostly just had to drive the bus.

Then the crack staff here thought he was a real franchise QB, asked him to do more in 2017 and he regressed.

He just doesn't have the talent. It's really as simple as that. Everyone would agree with me if he wore a rival uniform.

So, yes. He is set up to fail. By God.

First of all if you are not paying attention to his completion perc, tos, running tds and throwing tds then judging him on yards is Going to get you with a bad perception. DAK in this offense is good for 3400-3600 yards a,season.. His efficiency is what he is.

Can you read? If you can read, look at the Lions, Bucs and Packers games. The last 3 games of the year that were meaningful..... he played one quarter against the eagles in a meaningless game.

I READ quite well. Like I said, if you are not aware of what to look for. THEN you are the issue.

I know but it was those games his weaknesses were exposed.

Did you watch the games? I’m not a stat guy.

66% completion for 7.7 yards an attempt. 1 TD and no interceptions against the Vikings.

Just a horrible game against one of the best defenses in the league....

Did yoI watch the Bucs, Lions and Packers games?

Or they don’t count?

Dak played some of his best football late in the season in 2016. He had 3 very good games in the last 3 games that mattered that season.

The BS about him playing poorly late in the season in 2016 is pure fiction.

The 3 games that mattered MOST were the Falcons,Eagles, and Bolts, all 3 EMBARRASSING losses and knocked us out of the playoffs!!!!
Remember Dak lead our Offense for 15 Q without 1 TD....Great work Dak keep it up....and watch us all throw up our Sunday goodies....But i guess your happy as we whipped on the DEAD Giants in week 13 ....ouuuuuahhhhhhhh

Young, athletic, dominant OL. Best RB in the game. A bunch of receivers that fit his style of play. Yep, he's screwed.

We aren’t talking about last season. But I already know you can’t read from previous arguments we have had. So no surprise you missed the fact we are talking about 2016.

Hey Pappy, did you ever find that quote you wrongfully attiributed to me?

Any luck figuring out you were posting quotes from a different poster and not me? Has hooked on phonics really worked for you?

I wish this wasn’t true. But like Jerry many fans fell head over heels with the winning wave in 2016.

Your right. The Star on his helmet blurs their vision. They’ll blame everyone but him.
