Because the timing of his release played no part huh?
For the record, I disagree 100% with Deion.
For more reasoning why I disagree, refer to my other thread.

Your boy Bleu

If Dez was a well thought of receiver he'd be signed by somebody by now ....
Deion would stand a better chance at getting Dez a chair on the NFL Network set than getting him back on the roster.
And just when we thought Dez had run his last route/thread here at the Zone, Deion opens his big mouth
It likely was the same Bryant, just older, more injured and less productive. He did not suddenly get more dumb in a year or two. His physical gifts that carried him plus the QB that could make use of his physical skillset are gone.I'd like the old Dez back, but not the one that we've had the last two years.
Or he’s been a big part of not being signed because he’s not taken any offers he’s received. There are people telling these fools that Dez could be signed by now if he wanted to be.
Well...never confuse the media version of Deion with the Player version. They are WAY 2 different persona's. Unfortunately his on field swag is long gone and he tries to channel it through the only avenue he has left..the media. He is woeful at it..the polar opposite of the player. Deion and the words "sports journalist" should never be used together.I always shudder to think Deon was ever a Cowboy .....
Yep Dez is still Dez one of the best Receivers to ever play for the CowboysDid he all of a sudden figure out how to run routes, get separation, and catch balls that hit him in both hands? If not, no thanks. On second thought, even if he did, no thanks. He’s still Dez Bryant.

Poor Dez.Oh here we go... You realize he was offered a contract and teams have inquired right? You realize he was cut what a week before the draft? Not after the first wave as you like to call it. If you can’t understand the timing of his release has had an impact on him finding the right situation I don’t know what to tell you.
It’s like the old saying you can lead a horse to water...
