Because the timing of his release played no part huh?

Or he’s been a big part of not being signed because he’s not taken any offers he’s received. There are people telling these fools that Dez could be signed by now if he wanted to be.

Sideline rants, diminishing skills, not the same player, we're going in a different direction now... blah, blah, blah.

It all came down to the money IMO.

Deion Sanders logic... "Nobody wants Dez, so Dallas should bring him back". Dallas did the right thing in moving on from Dez, he wasn't producing at an elite level based on his salary.

wonder if the Amazon special and what other teams saw in those videos, especially his interaction with Dooley in the film room, has had any affect on team's interest in him. I for one would not want that for my coaching staff or my QB.

Deion would stand a better chance at getting Dez a chair on the NFL Network set than getting him back on the roster.

And just when we thought Dez had run his last route/thread here at the Zone, Deion opens his big mouth:facepalm:

Wanted, dead or alive, by one ankle tackling big mouthed former CB, a WR who I can call my own

with Love Deion

Could you imagine Dezzie on NFL network. What ya think Dez? Me? I'm Dez man, I'm still top 10 man, watch me go

I'd like the old Dez back, but not the one that we've had the last two years.
It likely was the same Bryant, just older, more injured and less productive. He did not suddenly get more dumb in a year or two. His physical gifts that carried him plus the QB that could make use of his physical skillset are gone.

You are correct it’s his choice

I always shudder to think Deon was ever a Cowboy .....
Well...never confuse the media version of Deion with the Player version. They are WAY 2 different persona's. Unfortunately his on field swag is long gone and he tries to channel it through the only avenue he has left..the media. He is woeful at it..the polar opposite of the player. Deion and the words "sports journalist" should never be used together.

Did he all of a sudden figure out how to run routes, get separation, and catch balls that hit him in both hands? If not, no thanks. On second thought, even if he did, no thanks. He’s still Dez Bryant.
Yep Dez is still Dez one of the best Receivers to ever play for the Cowboys

I'm thinking if he did come back what would I want to see and a couple things came to mind...vet minimum contract, jaw wired shut so he can't talk, has to do his squats and work on route running, and needs to catch the ball. If all those things occurred, I wouldn't be opposed to bringing him back.

Why does Deion even think Dez would be better suddenly..than he was over a month ago when we cut him? lol ...Its just a strange way of thinking by Deion. Teams aren't clamoring to sign him.

Oh here we go... You realize he was offered a contract and teams have inquired right? You realize he was cut what a week before the draft? Not after the first wave as you like to call it. If you can’t understand the timing of his release has had an impact on him finding the right situation I don’t know what to tell you.

It’s like the old saying you can lead a horse to water...
Poor Dez.
