He's always hurt so it is hard to say. When he has had a chance to play the quickness is apparent but i get the impression that the lack of continuity in his training and practice has stunted his technique development. He starts over as opposed to building.

To put a number on that? Not good. 30-40 and all that is pure athletic talent.

I mean wasn't the knock on him that he was a bit raw and would need a year or so to grasp how to perform in the NFL? And that if he conquered the mental/determination part of the NFL he could be a legit DE?

Hopefully his statements are backed up with action starting in September. I've gone from disliking the pick to really hoping he contributes consistently asap.

actually the knock on him was his motor thus nickname "soft taco". I saw him in camp last year and his length was ridiculous. I basically felt as long as he made steady improvement (consistent motor) and took to coaching he was be very solid DE within 3 years.

It's hard for these kids coming out of college playing against 18 - 22 year olds to automatically jump up and play against 23-33 year old men.
Give the kid a chance to become a man himself and then evaluate him.

Well I was struggling with whether to judge by percentile of NFL prospects or with the 70 pas fail delineation. i went with the latter.

As prospects go yeah I agree he is way down there.
