Raises his hand unapologetically, "I am a complete whimp when it comes to heat and humidity"
I second this from inside an AC abode and I ain't going out except to walk the dogs and I have already warned them "no wasting time these next two weeks, walk with a purpose, you can smell other stuff when it's cooler."

And folks with dogs should be careful when walking them as they can burn their pads on asphalt or concrete, keep them on the grass.

It’s not the intense summers I dislike, it’s the lack of a true autumn.
Agree, I could handle it better because Fall is my favorite season and I grew up in AR with real Falls and traveling NW AR in the Fall is one of my fondest recollections, the scenery and weather could not have been better.

Me too.

Looking forward to the first frost here in western NY.

But of course the "baby-talk" will be on the other foot come next January, you'll read on here about folks complaining about 30 degree weather and they've received an inch of snow.

We tend to get snow in increments of 6 inches at a time - at least until late February to March when 2-3 feet is not unusual... I love it, but then again, I don't have to work in it

It's been hovering around 100 in Boise. Doesn't bother me. I much prefer summer over winter.
But it will hit the 60's tonight and take it time to get back up there and the humidity level is low. Where the Gip is has so much concrete, it won't get below 85 and head right back up.
