But the one real wildcard among this running back group is Trey Williams. The former Texas A&M star went undrafted back in 2015. The Cowboys actually picked him up off the Washington Commanders practice squad towards the end of his rookie season. But he would spend less than a month in Dallas before being waived.

Since then, Williams has bounced around the league playing for the New England Patriots, the Indianapolis Colts, the Miami Dolphins, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also had a stint with the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL.

Last November, Williams was signed to the Cowboys practice squad. He was then inked to a reserve/future contract in January. Williams has been impressive this offseason as both a running back and on special teams. Showing a good combination of his 4.49 speed and power at only 5-foot-7, 200 pounds, the native of Houston appears to have an edge over both Jackson and Scarbrough.

There is a place for the other TW in this league, probably not on this team, but he needs to concentrate solely on teams to be able to latch on somewhere.
If the NFL only had payed advisors ,, just think,, we would all have our dream jobs.

He doesn't have the edge over Jackson and Scarborough. He was fumbling during drills and Zeke was cussing him out

How does the writer even come up with that statement in the article. He bases his opinion off of exactly what? There was nothing in that article or nothing after one padded practice that allows anyone to come to that conclusion. Not even Broaddus’s quote suggests that. SMH

He’s at least very briefly been with 5 NFL teams and one CFL team. Apparently he has some skills teams want to look at, but If none of them felt he was worth keeping odds are this time won’t be any different. And, like others in this thread, I’m curious what makes the OP say that he appears to have an edge over Jackson and Scarborough.

Being with 4 NFL teams as well as 1 CFL team speaks volumes as to why no one is talking about him.

PSF. That means Practice Squad Floater.

Not a bad job. Don't those guys get around half of NFL minimum? That would mean like 300 grand/year. Hades, I'd fumble a couple times on purpose so I could play checkers on the PS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not only that the depth chart says otherwise as well.

Lol....Man he had a fumble in one drill he sucks and shoul be cut immediately
Not sure how you got all that from my statement. He isn't making the roster, period. No way is he ahead of our drafted guys when he couldn't hold on to the ball in a drill and Zeke cussing him out. You can believe he is ahead of everybody but Dallas says otherwise and seeing as they make the decisions, yours don't mean jack
