I've written this before, but it bares repeating.

I know this guy because I'm an OU fan. The Sooners would be demolishing Kansas, and late in the 4th quarter, this guy is still playing his tail off and making plays.

Says all you need to know.

Played well against the Horns also.

I'm more worried about 63, the guy trying to block him...hope he isn't on the line this year.

And many in here derided the pick on draft day.

There were a few "Yeah, he's a quality pick."

Then there many "The Cowboys just blew another 4th round draft pick."

There was a 10+ page thread in Draft Zone on this guy, with people swearing up and down he was a blown pick. Much like when we drafted Hitchens, and certain ppl saying he'd never start or get another contract, cough.

That's funny to me.

Deion is not a Cowboy. He's a Falcon or 49er.

Only 4 numbers are off limits. 12, 8, 22, and 74.

You can't retire them all.

He was my favorite cowboy lol. I dont mean retire it just makes sure good players wear it like zeke. Same with 88. Didnt have a problem with dez wearing that.

I try not to get my hopes up after limited exposure to a player. Everyone has been pimping out Armstrong after one solid preseason game but I was able to maintain tempering my expectations.

Then this was posted:

Check out that ankle flexibility. Holy cow. For those that dont know, most rookies shouldnt be able to do that, especially not 4th rounder who didnt drop from off field issues.

Here's a snapshot:

I threw a Thread out there a couple weeks ago about DA. Got my head chewed off. Guess I was early and right on him.

Shame only 2 likes. That's how Jerry feels after they stayed pat in the 4th and still got him

It's how I feel every time I hear news on him

The bend is great, but check out who he is going against. Against Tyron, he might have never gotten a chance to bend.

He's doing great for a fourth-round pick and definitely looks like a good find for us, but yeah, I temper my expectations, too.
:clap:good for you

I think he and Gallup will end up being our two best draft picks this year. Which isn't to demean Leighton and Conner. Those two just need an offseason in the weightroom IMO and they will take off.

I think part of that was that it was not a position of "need".

But this was an opportunity pick and it looks pretty sharp right now.

Unlike cornerbacks, you can never have enough pass rushers.
