there is a report that rico liked a negative garrett tweet.
i would not put it beyond garrett to **** a player that speaks out against him.

Like Antonio Gates, his hoops rebounding skills are not something others can just learn. So much more he needs to learn, but I get why they’re reluctant to give up. He has a physical and instinctive knack for finding the ball

I’m not in the camp that be crushed if we didn’t keep him—not like he’s irreplaceable—but I’d like to keep him if possible

However, unlike some of you, I also think the young kid Shultz has a ton of room to grow.
He belongs on the OS, but I worry that we’ll lose him

it is suspicious to cut a player who was highly visible.
also fo may be interested in rico, as stephen as stated positive things.
another way to screw a raw player's career is to obviously undercut his development.
give him reps in the 4th quarter instead of the 2nd.
or to leave him on ir unable to practice with the team

he was held back when left on the ir last year because he could not practice.
it is hard to believe they would let him play (and played well) last preseason and then dog him this preseason.
nobody forgets how to play after a few months.
sounds like an agenda to me.

true, but garrett has constraints.
he cannot just go cut a well-known player like rico before cutdowns come.
in 2017 preseason, coaches, fo and players were singing rico's praises.
my suspicion is rico was pissed being left on ir - losing service time? and not getting development
so when someone tweeted 'fire garrett', he liked it like an idiot.
