Oh Ok I understand thanks I do have to ask Do you think that they would have him practicing with the ones if they thought he would be suspended?
They had Zeke practicing with the ones and they knew he was getting suspended.

So he was eating too much junk food and there was concern he had the munchies?

I took it as he snuck away from his accountability partner to go get some fast food and he maybe didn’t want anyone to know he was eating that crap during training camp but your point could be valid as well.

Hard to say. They never benched Leon Lett during the times when he went through the appeals process prior to getting suspended.

There is no way they will discipline him because his babysitter didn’t know where he was for a few hours. Just drug test him and if he is clean he wasn’t doing anything wrong. End of story.
It's a big deal if he missed a drug test while he was away.

That's my LaConfora impersonation.

He snuck away for a conjugal visit. I don't know what he was doing for the remaining 1hour and 55 minutes though.

Could it simply be that Gregory has strict guidelines to follow with his "handler" and that when he went AWOL last week, that violated the agreement between him and the league?

I'm thinking that is the basis for the talk, but I can't think that going AWOL for a few hours would somehow be grounds for any suspension. He could get a talking to, but I don't think the league could do anything more than that. If he's showing up for and passing his tests, he's meeting the standards to avoid suspension.

I'm willing to bet that the original Twitter idiot (who I won't give the satisfaction of a mention) caught wind of his going missing and ran with that. It's telling that the guy would have absolutely nothing further to say about a mention that he knows has gotten a lot of coverage.

He's a known scumbag whose own career is failing so I have no doubts that he has no integrity and would throw anything out there in an attempt at a "scoop".

Weed isn't demons. People smoke it every day and are just fine. He just plays in a league that does not allow it. There's nothing wrong with him. He's not addicted to heroin, meth or crack.
That's fun to say, but isn't true. I've fired countless employees who turned into useless inert bags of nothing because of a fascination with weed.

And Gregory has substantial mental health issues. That's the real problem here.

What is, Jason LaConfora. I'll take "Fat struggling sportswriters" for 400, Alex.

If that was the case, the story wouldn’t be he went awol. It would be he missed a drug test and is likely gone for good now.

The league doesn't discuss these things (supposedly) with the team or anyone until the announcement is made.

If they leaked something to LaConfora, there could be trouble coming. If not, he's probably ok.

Did you fire the alcoholics too?
