Just get it done. Meet in the middle. Their choice - a 3rd and change or a straight up 2nd. This is too close not to get a deal done.
Agree. We have a dire need to fill, and they have needs as well. One of which is RB and receiver/oline. Odds are looking much better suddenly.

Seattle already asked for pick 50 during the draft. That's a second without the change.

Draft picks have more value during the draft than they do this far away from the draft. During the draft, you've got guys you had a high grade on and you start thinking that you can come away with two top players instead of just one.

The situation with ET does not help his value. They need to move on and so far no one has offered more than the Cowboys.

Seahawks do not want the team distraction lingering...and the fact he will lose money fast, tells me something will be hammered out.Whether he stays in Seattle or gets moved to another team is irrelevant. Fact is its the 11th hour and Earl has to move on this...all parties do. Its a bad look otherwise.

How about a third round pick and an autographed Rolando McClain jersey? :p

A 3rd rounder and Rod Smith? Seattle could use a RB...
