Please don't judge me. I am a huge supporter of the Cannabis Industry. As many here know I'm Canadian. On October 17th cannabis becomes legal in my country, medicinal has been for some time. I am a medicinal user and have been for a while. First off, I want to say this ... I never operate a vehicle when using cannabis. I believe Canada has a real opportunity to become a leader in cannabis research for health benefits. Some of the benefits I get from cannabis are - sleep, anxiety (help me through some dark days after my wife left, I have extremely bad feet and used to get a sharp shooting pain, like being aggressively stuck by a hypodermic need (no longer a problem), I take no medicine, my left hand has a small shake that cannabis settles and other benefits...
I am a true believer that this is the first true alternative medicine that can change people's lives ...
The biggest problem is price, my medicinal supplier usually a hybrid that I like for $3.99/gram, they were out this week, I am not as well off financially as I was 6 months ago, so I may have to lo for compassionate pricing with a different company, if I lived in Detroit, there are compassionate clubs in which people who grow for medicinal purposes help people in financial difficulty. The cost can be expensive and many drug plans do not cover it yet. In Canada there are 2 insurance companies that cover it, plus 2 drug store chains that cover it for their employees.
I have discussed the pot stock with different people. Many believe cannabis companies that go public is a good investment. For me, I am hoping some serious research starts taking place in my country, medically cannabis works ... now we need research to show that it works ... I have discussed cannabis with my dr., he is 73 and a believer that it works ... he has seen patients get off opioids just by switching to cannabis ... and that makes him happy.
