this isn't an impulse reaction, his excuses are gone and he looks even worse than he did when all the "problems" for him were here.

Need to see what we have, may have to give the new guy 2+ years to judge if he's a franchise guy or not.

Dak's only intermediate distance throw to the sideline was on 4th down and he missed it. That's what is missing.

Can't agree on benching him, but we do need to see if he can start making these throws rather than dink and dunk. If Dak can add that throw then we have a franchise QB. He is so much closer than Rush or White.

Once again the WR did him no favors. And the staff abandon the run. Thanks, my whole week of football is done.

Seems like Dak is uncomfortable working within the pocket and can't see past the check-down route, lacking confidence in his deep throw. The outside receivers aren't scaring anyone, but they are in single coverage much of the time and that included Dez. You have to give them a chance to make a play. Not one throw downfield yesterday.

The QB situation is gong to sink this team in 2018.

We don't have a chance to win with Dak at QB. Our other two QBs probably can't do any better but they should be given a chance.

That kind of action is what got us here in the first place, Dak wasn't drafted as the heir apparent to Romo, but a "possible" replacement, or a "quality backup". But once he had the good first year, it's "let's go with Dak, he's great!" instead of saying "with a 1,600 yard rusher running behind a top offensive line, most any quarterback would look good, we need to take a closer look at Dak before going whole hog on him".

Jerry and Jason haven't a clue how to build a winning NFL franchise, we could get Roger or Troy or Romo or Brady or Rodgers here, and the team still wouldn't be great:
Build a good o-line but not build any decent backups.
Pay Dez and force throws to him even though he can't run a route to save his life.
Depend on Sean Lee to be the linchpin of the defense even though he has injury issues.
Draft a project like Taco with a high draft pick.
Lose a very good guard and replace him with a college tackle you have to convert to guard instead of drafting a Hernandez, top rated NFL guard, or some other college guard.
Put L. Collins at tackle even though he was pretty good at guard.
Continue to try to make Chaz a top NFL lineman event though he never showed any real talent.
Cut a top quality kicker and replace him with a 75% kicker who's 28 years old.
Refuse to draft a DT with a high draft pick, despite prior team's winning SBs with the likes of Lilly, White and Maryland.
Hire Monte Kiffin 20 years after his defense has been figured out by oc's around the league, then even at that not give him the same quality of players he needs even if his defense can work.
Keep Garrett as head coach despite limited success year after year.

And last of all, refuse to hire a legitimate NFL general manager so that you won't have to share credit for SBs with anybody due to your giant ego.

As I've said before, I have been a Cowboys fan for now 50 years, I won't ever be a fan of another team, too old to start now. But I now watch the games since I like NFL football, I have zero expectations of another SB win as long as the Jones' run the team. If they do win another one or several, I'll be glad, but if they don't? Not going to stress about it...

Same with any team, since the rules made this a passing league, barring a perfect storm of a bunch of draft picks and free agents turning into The Great Wall, getting 8 draft picks from a team stupid enough to think Herschel Walker is their savior and getting a 215 lb running back who's not that fast to be durable enough to become the NFL's all time rushing leader.

If you must toss someone under the bus, make it Kellen Moore. Dak was great in his rookie year due to Romo being on the sidelines.
