What? "Get a QB who can win?"

That's the measuring stick? That's all there is to it? Wow, Yyu mean like Kelley and Marino and Moon and Fouts, winners like that? Great QB's who didn't win a SB in the ultimate team sport.

Romo was 78-49, in a 3 point league. Eli, the benefactor of two historic SB defensive runs is barely over .500.

Romo consistently had a bottom ten defense and a bottom five pass defense. Only one QB in NFL history has ever won a SB with those defensive numbers in a season - Aaron Rodgers (once) - Romo was never Aaron Rodgers.

I can't believe I have to point this out again but for the millionth time football is a team sport - Romo did his job, his career is not one of excuses but the result of countless factors including getting some fortunate calls or not (see the Dez catch) and some pure dumb luck (see Eli again).

If you're just waiting for a "winning QB" you would be better served to prepare to learn to live again with the wasted years post AIkman, pre Romo and now post Romo because that's where we're headed - unless of course, you have an idea of how to find a "QB that can win."

Please - let us know how we can do that - thanks.

Trade up for Wentz and not let the Eagles scoop him up. Simple enough

Can't sit on your hands and must be proactive

Oh yah, the RB looked great. He really showed everyone how he is the best RB in the NFL. And that whiffed block for the 7 yards sack was a thing of beauty also.
I'm not sure if you really know what you're talking about and just see results of plays. Yes he whiffed but its kinda hard to change body direction when you're supposed to do a fake that's going right and the defender is coming from the opposite side. Its not easy. I'd agree with you if he whiffed as a straight up blocker but that's not what happened on that play.

Dak was at 70% completion percentage most of the game and missed some throws. I don't think accuracy being a problem is something you can hang your hat on. This wasn't a 10/25 performance lol
Dak that you? Did you watch the game or moneyball it? Dak accurate please. That stat shows you that numbers lie and can be manipulated.

I thought he really helped Dak. He was in his ear on the sidelines all of the time. Not sure why they didn't keep him rather than going with guys like Moore and Rush as the backups.

I think a young QB like Dak would benefit greatly from a savvy veteran backup in his ear after every series. Instead he’s got career scrubs talking to him on the sidelines: Garret and Moore. Now he’s got Garrett-Top Junior in Cooper Rush wearing the dunce cap and clipboard as his #2 trying to give him words of wisdom.

Ok buddy, whatever you say. It was a great block. Stellar play there by Zeke.

Nope Dak is the problem period. He makes everybody else look worse just like last year when all the receivers had their worst years ever at the same time.

Sure buddy. Its all on Dak. Got it. No doubt the rookie we draft next year will being going nutz in this offense.

Yep its all on Dak. You can't use emotional strawman logic because who said some rookie would go nuts in this offense but you?

He doesn't anticipate breaks. He doesn't throw in rhythm. He has to see a receiver wide open to throw it to him. By the time they're open, it's too late.

Dak is just not an NFL starting quarterback yet. I doubt he ever will be. I hope I'm wrong about that one day.
This. When Romo said Dak needs to throw guys open this is what he meant. Do not throw to where they are anticipate where they will be when the ball gets there, this is why he is short or high on passes he does not have that anticipation or he sucks at geometry. If he threw this way he would not need to "wind-up" and uncork a mechanically bad throw because he can use his normal motion to get it where it needs to be.

Let’s be real, Dak doesn’t “suck”. He led the team to a 13-3 record his rookie year and played well last year until T.Smith went down.

But something is off. He certainly “sucked” today. His mechanics were off. He missed wide open receivers. He held the ball too long.

I’m willing to write this game off as an anomaly considering the pressure he was under the entire game. If there’s a repeat performance next week, it’ll be time to start getting worried.

Having your offensive line cave in helps no one.

This and the receivers not getting open is what did Dak in today for the most part. He had some bad throws too, but this was a complete offencive failure. Dak played poorly, but so did everyone else on offence. I'm not going to overreact to one game though in terms of my opinion of Dak. As far as what I think of Dak right now, I'm on to the Giants.

That offense was offensive. Defense played well I thought.

Yes, our defence was impressive. Considering the situations that our offence put them in, they did brilliantly against Cam. Just need to tighten up on the read option.
