Here we go again someone else who threw Romo under the bus is trying to sugar coat it.

Its not true anyone with half a brain that wasnt drinking the Dak koolaid could see in 2016 Romo should have gone back in. The last 2 seasons gave proved us right.

I never threw Romo under the bus. Not sure what I've ever said would suggest that.

This chart is great. Question: Out of the 7 passes beyond 10 yards, how many travelled 10+ yards in the air?

It always amazes me that people who blindly support Dak fall back on his completion percentage. If the majority of any NFL QB's passes are less than 10 yards, their completion percentage will be high. However, how many games will a QB win that keeps throwing short passes?
The people that support the Dak fall back are Steve and jerry, you know why?

They got together with linehan and asked him to come up with the simplest offense that a QB can run
Why? Because they know he cant read, He has bad foot work, he has no accuracy,He panics and has no pure talent to be a high caliber nfl qb.
So take any stats and yardage and throw them away. This guys going to be working clips boards real soon and the sad part is they all know it.

I can think of 1 play where Dak was bad yesterday...the skipped pass while running for his life. Show me where he had anything to work with?

Challenge accepted.

1st Qt-

3:48, 2nd & 3- play action, all the time in the world, throws behind an open Zeke in the flat

2nd Qt-

12:39, 3rd & 11- throws a screen pass too hard & too high to Rod Smith

8:09, 2nd & 9- has Swaim between two zone defenders, sees it, hesitates instead of pulling the trigger, gets sacked

7:26, 3rd & 11- no pressure, pass to Hurns hits the ground a yard in front of him

3:03, 3rd & 7- this is the Jarwin throw. Honestly, that's a tough throw running that way

3rd Qt-

10:32, 1st & 10- zero pressure, could have checked his e-mail, pass is no where near Beasley

8:32, 3rd & 3- Hurns runs a drag, sits in the hole in the zone, Dak holds... holds... gets flushed and throws it away

6:13, 1st & 10- complete lack of pocket awareness. Could have went left between the hole created by the DE & DT. Runs right, creating a rush opportunity for the guy Collins had blocked

6:08, 2nd & 10- decides to run. Bad decision because Zeke, Beasley, & Swaim are open and Dak gets nothing

4th Qt-

14:12, 1st & 10- Gallup is interfered with on the route, but Dak still throws it behind him

2:51, 2nd & 18- no pocket awareness, big void to the front right, stays where he's at and Short pushes Connor into his lap

2:19, 4th & 10- sails the 12 yard out to Thompson

1:39, 3rd & 7- has a good pocket, looks indecisive, helps the rush by looking to run, fumbles the ball

As much as the blame is going on the OL and Coaching, Dak just simply needs to be better. Read and make a quarter of those passes on the money and the game opens up. Obviously the throw would be better if it's a completion but catch or not, if he is passing dimes, it shows that he isn't rattled and able to make the accurate throw. This is a timing based offense in the NFL and Dak's timing is off. As soon as the WR makes a cut (dig, slant, hitch, whatever), it should be out. He is looking for that 10 yard cushion every single play. Does "arm strength" play a role here or is he just being "safe"? Whatever it is, I think his confidence is shot.

If that's it, it's been shot since he was a rookie. He's always needed to see the guy be open before pulling the trigger. I was saying this during his rookie campaign when people were telling me he was the next Tom Brady.

Denver laid out the gameplan for beating him. Stay in base against 11 personnel to contain Zeke. Play man on the outside. As long as your corners can appear to be with the receiver, he'll hold the ball.

Dakota Prescott's last 4 games dating back to week 15 last year:

18/27 202 yds 2 INT
21/34 181 yds 2 INT
17/30 179 yds 1 TD
19/29 170 yds

Keep living off of 2016, ya sound like RG3 stans living out his 2012 glory days. The jig is up. That bs from Dak last year is what got Dez cut. But his play this year is whats going to get Garrett the axe, and Im here for it.

Exactly ! Dak cried to get Dez cut , claiming it was Dez who precluded him from running his Offense . Dak has been exposed !

I'd be willing to give him the not playing in the preseason alibi if this wasn't a pattern that started 8 games ago. That is not an anomaly, it's a pattern. The accuracy is just off but I'm sure Kellen Moore will be the answer to get him on track and coach him up.

you know what's sad, now the homers are down to blaming Kellen Moore. First year on the job. What is Moore suppose to do? and what didn't he do?

I thought 2016 proved Dak was a franchise QB.

"We" made the team Dak friendly and got rid of Dez because Dak couldn't take him talking in his ear. The offensive line got blamed, the WR's got blamed, the coaches got blamed. Prime posted some good links of the throws in this thread.https://cowboyszone.com/threads/dak-panther-game-vids-and-clips.414307/ looks like its the QB from these film clips.
