It’s only one game but it was obvious before the season (I said it and some others) that this group wasn’t impressive on paper.

So far that has been proven valid but the season is still very young but not promising though.

The blame should go on the GM and Head Coach for fielding that WR product on the field.

Jerry and many fans havn’t waited . They’re using Linehan as a scapegoat . Instead of pointing to personnel concerns. Wonder why?
Well to be fair we don’t know if Linehan is a part of the personnel decisions either.
This is the problem with football. There are just so many moving parts.
Is it all on Linehan?
Was Dez throwing Dak and Linehan under the bus with bad play calling and maybe bad QBing?
Is it JG throwing Linehan under the bus when he had say over personnel?
Is the personnel the issue or the system?
Is the system the issue or is it a combination of personnel, system, coaching?
Is the OL to blame?

We can’t really ever know for sure.
The only thing we can know is that it didn’t work so far...it wasn’t working last year and it doesn’t look like it’s getting that much better soon.

Doesn't matter. They're coming. @Tangle_Foot has already led the charge..lol
It does matter if your also trying to derail before its attempted to be.

If this recieving Corp isn’t fair game for criticism I don’t know who is. And whoever thought this group of recievers would be ok.

Yes, whoever is responsible should be recieving the brunt of the criticism. I’d look to the one who’s already using Linehan as a scapegoat.

How can we say this for sure?
Maybe with a team of all pro WRs we would still be in this position? Is it the lack o blocking? Are guys open but the QB doesn’t get them the ball?
We don’t know.

We know who is probably ultimately responsible.
I’d begin with who’s already looking for scapegoats.

Why we don’t hold their or his feet to the fire instead of pointing fingers elsewhere always amazes me.

Nah man. I simply prefer to wait a bit longer than one week to make my NFL decisions. No derailment here.

We know this offense wasn’t this inept last year. What’s changed ?

I understand but it’s already started and Jerry is leading the way with his early scapegoat.

And what part of “ so far” don’t you understand?

Again.............

This part.

Whoever thought this recieving Corp would be ok should be fired.

Without that definitive line, I'm good.

You can’t come in with less talent and expect better results. It’s amazing we expect our coaching to elevate lesser talent . Lol

We want to place blame everywhere but the talent or lack of it.

Don’t buy the rhetoric coming out of front office and Jerry. They’re just trying to cover up their poor personnel decisions.

Our passing offense is struggling because of a lack of talent.

Well.. fans are ready to follow Jerrys lead in using Linehan as scapegoat . I’m just redirecting that to who thought this offense would be ok. And I said “ so far”.

According to Linehan the system changed and the WRs\TEs. But also the OL personnel changed.
And Tyron Smith looked awful, Connor Williams looked awful and Freebeard is out.

So a few things changed.

Now I agree the WR Corp is not good enough.

But with so many moving parts it’s hard to say.

Kind of a little early for such a bold statement. Especially when they didn't play any meaningful snaps in preseason. There were plenty of yards to be gained with receivers running open but Dak just couldn't get them the ball against Carolina. That would have made a difference.

Give em time they'll come around. If we were any other team and this squad was coming to town this weekend none of them would be worried about facing these receivers, at all lol.
