Badly.

The see-saw "win one, lose one" 8-8 meddling that Garrett has perfected would be the worse result for this season. It will lead to Garrett and his pathetic staff returning for another year and it also ruins our draft position for a possible franchise QB or an elite defensive prospect. My eye is to the future from here on out. The franchise needs to be humbled on and off the field (ratings) this year for changes to be made.

Come on Z

I can't root for losses.
I do start to plan my sundays differently though if the teams shows they are a mess(2015)
Not going to be sitting there not enjoying 3 or so hours of watching bad football.
Especially with a growing family.

I'm sorry i cannot get on the tank or hope we get beaten bandwagon - i always want this team to win ! but i understand some people's frustration.
I don't like Garrett any more than anyone else. But hoping the Cowboys lose? Not in my DNA.
Why can't you? We don't lose fan points for using our brain rather than our heart. Sometimes in life you have to take a step backward in order to move forward.

We have had six consecutive strong drafts and in the last four years we had healthy seasons of 13 - 3 and 12 -4, with one 4 - 12 because of a QB injury that sinks any team, then a 9-7 despite a ton of injuries and the Zeke boondoggle.

Garrett isn't the problem and a teardown isn't the answer.

Agreed, I can already see with Garrett and Dak we are not winning ****.

So I rather us not waste time, lose, get rid of them both, and secure a high draft pick

Garrett will make this season an 8-8 or better , but i don't see us making the playoffs.

So you are right, low draft pick and no playoffs. & Garrett here for another 3 seasons.

Garrett is not the solution. Every other head coach in the league with his tenure has at least one Super Bowl except Marvin Lewis who at least got one as a DC. Anyways Garrett is just one of the changes I'm hoping for after a humbling season.

We haven't been 8-8 since 2013. 38-27 since the start of 2014. Certainly not a great record, but it could be worse.

And for the record, I'd be ok if they fired Garrett. I'd be ok if they kept him and hired a much better OC as well.

If another 8-8 season does not force changes then that says more for the front office. I would rather have 8 happy enjoyable weeks then losing every game just personal opinion --- i do understand frustrations to the other way though

12-4 and then 4-12. lol Last year was 8-8 if we didn't play starters against scrubs in the final game and win 6-0.

I can't hope for a loss. Not against any team but especially not the Giants and especially not having to watch Eli Manning win.

There's not a lot of evidence that tanking in the NFL will turn a franchise around faster. The Browns are the best example. Dallas might need a franchise QB. If so I see no lock that tanking will get them one. Many have been found outside of the top 5 picks.

Well last year I wanted to tank after Thanksgiving so what did the Cowboys do? They went on a winning streak against a bunch of scrub teams. That's JG's legacy. Beat the bad teams and save yourself.

The Dez catch says Hi. You are talking about five other guys in the NFL. Exclude Belichick because no one matches that and his franchise gets "special privileges" from the NFL.

From other other four, if Garrett had Aaron Rodgers this whole time he would have a ring and Payton has been up and down.

I put Garrett slightly above average but saying he isn't in the top five isn't a reason to tear down the team, especially after a bad opener like a ton of NFL teams have when they don't play starters in the preseason.

yes, but it wasn't 8-8 last year. Would have been 14-2 in 2016 if we had played all our starters in the finale against philly. See, I can play that game too.

Again, I'm not advocating that Garrett is a great coach. I'm just pointing out that the "we're 8-8" narrative is false.
