The Dak Prescott Thread **merged**

That’s what I mean. By faith, I mean Gregory is not only a head case, but he’s already on an extremely tight leash with the NFL.

Personally, we are a lot more aggressive. I’m used to seeing read and react defense for the last few years. This defense is playing in the opponent’s face right now.

Thank you Kris Richard.

Thank you Kris Richard.

I had my doubts, particularly since he was fired by Seattle and his whole career was Pete Carroll giving him his start and bringing him along, but I like what I’m seeing.

But we showed talent last year and our defensive backfield was taking steps forward, so I wouldn’t say he walked into a bad situation and totally turned it around.

No. I agree.

Honestly, the cowboys have been sinking a lot of their premier draft picks into the defense the last few years.

It’s finally starting to pay off.

It’s also probably why our offense isn’t as dominant as it used to be. At least part of the reason.....

Looked like he missed a wide open Rico in the end zone, but Rico stumbled as he made his cut. Wonder if he doesn’t if that’s a TD?

How would you rate Dak’s performance tonight?

far better than we saw last week, but IMO, that's due to a paradigm shift, giving Dak more authority at the LOS

while watching this O keep in mind there is no Dez or Austin or TO who'll often get wide open, take a look at the Next Gen stats on tight window throws

those are as tight a windows as it gets
his touch was much better

he gave up on a few plays too early, Rico obviously, a couple of others, looked over confident and focused on protecting the ball

I'll give him a 7

I have been pretty hard on Dak and his limited skill set. But I thought tonight was one of his best games. He looked confident and was throwing on time and accurately. His mechanics were much better this game and his decision making was pretty good. Still some throws he missed but he was efficient, which is what we need. Don't need him to be a super star back there but he must be efficient and he was. Congrats to him. I hope he can keep it up.

B. He missed a easy TD to Rico but Gallup also dropped a long pass and Thomson stopped on his route.

I heard Cam starts to play better after he runs and gets hit. I think Dak is the same. I think we should start every game with some RPO runs along with deep passes.

For a good portion of last week after the Panthers debacle, I stated that we needed to get Dak running more for him to be successful. As you saw tonight, that was indeed the case. He ran the ball more, and he played a better game.

After that early strike to Austin, he threw for 90 yards the next 3.5 quarters. It's an issue.

Most teams beat Dallas tonight. The Giants are dreadful.

I dunno about that. Certainly didn't help that Gallup dropped what could well have been an easy TD later in the match.

And you were right about that ... as soon as dak took the read option , we were moving those chains.

Your idea did work .

Cheers. I dunno if those chaps that run the show here were reading this board, but I was really pleased to see us letting Dak run about more. It's what Dak does best.

Bus driver, another game less than 200 yards passing
Which he should because Dallas has Ezeeeeeeee.

What would make you happy? EZEEEEEEEE with a hunnerd, Dak with 400, receivers with 100?

TEAM GAME.

How many first downs did he get with his running?

Yah, forgot that part didn't ya........ unbelievable.

We've got waaaayyyyy too many Goldielock fans.

I frankly don't give a toss about the stats as long as we win.

Seattle has one of the elite defense in history that could overcome a 5 INT performance by RW against a prime Aaron Rodgers.. plus RW can air it out when he has too and can throw from the pocket..

The Giants look abysmal, particularly OL...

Our defense though is impressive right now..

The Legion Of Boom is dead. They gave up 27 points, 329 yards and 3 TD's to Case Keenum last week, however, I am by no means underestimating playing them in Seattle but they simply aren't the team they once were.
