The Dak Prescott Thread **merged**

Dak wasn't perfect, but he took a beating all week and came back and played well tonight. He looked much more poised tonight than he did last week. Just keep improving Dak!

How would you rate Dak’s performance tonight?

Dak looked much improved tonight which is a good sign. Still concerned however that passing attack is not more productive, another less than 200 yrd performance. We can win with Dak as long as he plays with confidence and doesn't turn the ball over. However going to be diff to win against good teams passing for less than 200. We don't look like a play-off caliber team just yet. Giants are not very good.

He was very good in the RPO game. They need to let him run that all game and not just in the red zone and on 3rd downs.

But even with that 64 yard bomb to Austin, he only had 160 passing yards total. That's not gonna get it done against most teams.

Or was this enough? I’d say it’s enough if the defense could kee it up his stat line tonight I’m perfectly fine with. Dangerous Russ had the same kinda average when Seattle won super bowl 20 25 throws 200 yrd and a TD or 2 not a lot to ask right?? Anyways good win :dance:

Lol, 90% of people on this site are so reactionary when it comes to Dak.

No doubt. Believe me Khiladi. I also think Dak needs to get better.

He isn’t going to last long term if he doesn’t improve his pocket presence and footwork.

But he isn’t a bum either. He is right now, an average QB but he also brings the running aspect which helps things.

This team neeeds to have an awesome defense themselves. Which I think they can.

Just as a side note, as I’ve said in the past, Dak, personally to me, would be a top-flight backup, particularly as a change-of-pace. As a coach, if he was my number-2, I’d be more than satisfied with it. I think he will ultimately has a solid career as that.

Also, 8–1 in three years when a QB happens to get those numbers don’t really tell anything, meaning it’s probably just statistically meaningless. There are 32 teams in the NFL and in 3 years, those numbers have been hit 9 times, and who knows if by even the same team, meaning it’s increfibky rare. So does it make sense to try and target such numbers to ‘win’?

No, so what exactly is it telling us?

I can’t believe they would shut a completely non hate related Dak thread
