Dak wasn't that good last night **merged**

This isn't hard.

Week 1 Dak was easily outperformed by Cam and we lost.
Criticism was warranted though play-calling did him zero favors.

Week 2 Dak easily outperformed 20M Eli Manning and we won.
Criticism is goofy for week 2.
Dak hit two players in stride in the hands 30 yards down the field.
He had 3-4 passes dropped.
He had a couple passes nullified by penalty.
He also out-rushed Saquon Barkley.

Stop Box Score scouting. It's terrible.

He played bettet but the difference between 160 yards and 25O is the passes he flat blew to Rico and JARWIN.. Im on.his side but im going to criticize where its due as well..The guantlett is coming..This production alibi a win coz D wont playing better teams..And he can do it..

Once again, You are not calculating a weakness in the oline, that and suspensions last year...Dak was having a decent year last season until injury and the gd league decided to take away competitive advantage. I think your perspective is that of another teams fan..How long is this fan without a clue going to continue?

Am I wrong? Even with that oline, eclipsing 300 yards isn't Daks game. I don't even think he's ever eclipsed 400 yards. He is not the passer he was made out to be in his rookie year.

IDN about that..If you logic any you should be able to compare the difference..

2016
HEALTHY OLINE AND TWO VETS AT GUARD AND TACKLE..

TONY IN DAKS EAR..

2017 NEW RT, NEW GD..
NO ZEKE FOR SIX GAMES..

I THINK You may need some therapy..Your data is weak, as is your arguments!
Our defense is better than either 2016 or 2017. I think you failed to mention that. Also, having Zeke for 16 games might actually help us in 2018, but then again, since my data is weak, so I could be wrong too.

Man You just keep on bringing up points that you cant prove. Linehan called a decent game against Carolina but tape proved that Smith.and Collins blew the first three posessions coz penalties..Research..Do any?

No question..You cant assign blame to the proper area with out global consideration..However ill give you a thought..I picked Dallas to lose first game and win yesterday. As it was Dallas could have won the first one, but they simply were not ready to play at Carolina..That you can blame on Garrett..Of Course im sure they didnt anticipate freds deal..I know stephen didnt, that is fo sho!

wrong. every player gets paid to win, not just the QB....

but QBs job is to throw..... and make plays and provide the opportunity for the team to win..... a running QB should go back to wish bone offense. if a QB can't make accurate throws from the pocket...then he is not worth it

This is the craziest post in this thread. The qb is paid to win games anyway they can. That old mentality that a running qb should play wishbone is foolish.

He'd have been over 250 with the drops and penalties.
He's also have been up near 300 (possibly with terrible efficiency and a couple INTs) had we went spread and hurry up all game.
The game was the game.
He had us in front. He managed the game with a 2 score lead for essentially every bit of it.

The Rico throw was bad but Rico was also running in mud. Witten would have cut clean and likely been there for that pass.
Rico is a giant man so you don't have to lead him and that throw was leading him by a lot.
But as is the case with Dak, generally, his poor throws are AWAY from the defense.
Those are the kinds of misses you can live and win with.

Yep. I think that based upon preseason (OTAs, Camp etc), they figured that Dak could be better untilized in the pocket, but the Carolina game showed differently. So, the Read Option is back with the RPO. Spread it out and let him run, pass or hand off. Again, this type of physical play is not sustaininable as players get older, but Dak is a young man and he's got a bigger build, so hopefully his durability will hold up. Again, I think they hoped he could nake the adjustment to become more of a pocket passer, but his development is not there yet (and may never get there). That does not mean he can't help us win some games.

I will make this point there. DAK IS A SOLID RUNNER..He picks his spots and creates decisions by the defense.Slidez well and athletically keeps himself out of trouble..So far...In the Nfl you use your legs to make plays. Not runs..Meaning he needs to become a better qb to last in this league!

oh btw, don't question my loyalty to this team. thanks

How that work for the Giants squirt?

Are you flirting with me Jr? I LIKE women..You should try them..Who cares about the Giants..As has been the case, they were dispatched, And used as a training exercise!

He averages 19 attempts a game. The offensive balance is not set up from him to be eclipsing 300 yards.

Again, he's a 3rd year 4th round qb that is still learning. He's been rookie of the year, had the best season of any rookie or close to it, regressed some year two, had one bad game, and 1 solid game where he directly affected its outcome in a win. Come again.

Only confirming my original point... with or without Zeke, this team or another, his average will still be the same.
