Dak wasn't that good last night **merged**

Dak does a lot of things right. I just don't think his arm abilities are going to get much better than this.

Executed a flawless late 4th quarter drive to seal the game. You should do yourself a favor and not immediately chime in on every Dak thread that has a positive slant. It just shows how emotionally insecure and fragile you really are.
Holy......what?

Whatever, Dr. Ruth.

You're triggered by the prospect of Dak playing well, or others praising his play. That's emotional instability over losing Romo if I've ever seen it.
Romo was close to done. You don't think I know that?

I miss good quarterbacking, no matter who it is. That's the issue. This is hard to watch.

You really need to look a little deeper into stuff.

Who mentioned anything about race? Aren’t there other reasons you all hate Dak so much? Like Romo worship and bitterness filled with traces of estrogen?

x 1,000,000. Logic doesn't dictate their opinions, only butthurt feels

And after that, he threw for 80 total yards the next three and a half quarters.
Fair Comment and I will take a shot at answering it.

The first sequence was definitely rehearsed and practiced until perfection was achieved. I think regardless of down and distance that these three plays were developed to work in a sequence. Bill Walsh was the first coach that I remember doing this. If I recall correctly he practiced 16 plays religiously each week until all the players were dialed in on all the little nuances that should take place. This staff and QB should take the same approach and develop a sequence of plays to work in combination to set -up plays. The staff may do this but I am not sure.

Second part to you statement, "he threw for 80 total yards the next three and a half quarters." Why does the yardage matter? He manged the game. You also seem to forget the yardage he gained with his feet. This game reminded me of Troy Aikman's games. I don't care if Dak throws for 200 yards or 500 yards as long as he controls the game and protects the ball.

Nobody really knows much as we think on this issue. Its not like you do either or you'd be somewhere actually getting paid for your football knowledge. He isn't a rookie anymore he is in his third year and y'all acting like a protective parent that can't get that your baby going to have stuff said about their child. If he plays better he wont these threads and if he doesn't more of these threads will be made.

Well he balled in his rookie year with a great Oline and run game. It would be silly to think that he cant do that again if those conditions are regained. However, its also clearly obvious that without those conditions he has a lot more work to do. He really only had adversity for about 10 games. Ill give him until the end of this season to say whether he needs to be in the garbage bin or not.

My point was we had three in 2016. Having 1.5 All-Pros on the line is better than what 90% of the QBs in the league have on their O-lines.

As far as RPOs, any system that is pedicated on your opponent playing undisciplined defense is not a system at all. It won't work on good teams and is not a good foundation for a playoff contender. Yeah, it can ocasionally be done if you have an elite defense that generates turnovers and you get really lucky on offense.

Read option tools can be effective, if a QB can play in the pocket too. Look at Aaron Rodgers. The guy is deadly from the pocket but even scarier when he improvises. That is the kind of QB Dak should aspire to become. He doesn't have Rodger's arm talent, but if he can prove that he can consistently making winning throws from the pocket, he will be playing more like Rodgers than Cam Newton. That is the kind of development we need from Dak.

BTW, the only time a QB running an RPO system won a Super Bowl, that QB had an elite, ball hawking Defense. Now that QB has become a pocket passer. He'd be even better if he had Dak's 1.5 All-Pros on the O-Line and Zeke.

Not a system buddy, its a couple of plays that keeps the defense guessing. This helps Zeke as much as it helps Dak. You are wasting your time if you want Rogers. Its never going to happen. The romo haters said the same dumb stuff. Rogers doesnt win it all every year does he?
