With Fitzpatrick doing well I think Tampa may consider trading Winston. What do you guys think if Dallas would trade for Winston? I personally think he would be a upgrade to Dak.

What does Dallas pay him? Next season is his 5th year option and he's not worth that money. And I wouldn't want him signed to a long term deal. Winston is a dead end.

Do you really think they will get rid of Winston to keep Fitz who is at the very end of his career and can return to earth at anytime? Please! No way in h*ll would they do that.

Too small an upgrade for the effort, headache, and assets given up. Plus I don't think the Bucs will drop him yet, they know that Fitz will crash and burn at some point. Hell, he threw three picks in the first half against the steelers I believe so it may already be happening.

There is no magic trade available for a QB. Only one I can see is Derek Carr if Chucky wants to start over with his own QB.

Trade up in the draft. We have the ammo. With HERBERT, Haskins, Lock, ect. We can get a good young cost controlled quarterback. Let Dak play out his rookie contract. Then when the young gun is ready we can roll.

They aren't trading Winston just bc they have a stop-gap back-up QB.

Yeah, unless they are done with him. If they are, they Fitz is a great stop gap until you get another guy. If Winston is their guy, they need to go back to him and trade Fitz to us for a stop gap!

I was thinking that too. But what if the Raiders look bad all season, and that horrible offense is blamed on Carr? Then Gruden makes it known he wants to move off Carr. His value may go down. He'll be 28 to start next season. Age shouldn't be a factor though, Kirk Cousins got that huge contract and started season 1 of the contract at age 30.

What other teams are in need of a Franchise QB? A lot of QB needy teams have invested high picks the last few years on guys they see as their future.

I don't see a lot of competition for Carr if he becomes available.
